*Official* Bowling Thread

The annoying thing about halibut is that he's even great at Wii Bowling

 

I'm pretty good at Wii bowling . . . but the real thing is much better. The sights and the sounds of the ball hitting the lane . . . there's almost nothing better.

 

When the kids go back to school, I'm gonna start taking bowling up again, and going down during the day to practice. I'd love to learn the art of spin.

 

I have that on my ball, but not a whole lot of it. Still, I've only had my ball finger-tipped for several months now, so I'm still learning the art of the hooking ball.

Well, it wasn't too difficult to find . . .

 

Oh yeah, I forgot to say. Two weeks ago, my team won the league chamionship.

How many teams were in the league?

 

Did much better last time out. I got a 136 and 117 to finish 2nd overall in my Fanforce's bowling night.

10 teams in the league. Since it's a smaller center, they can't have as many teams . . . also, it may have something to do with having four other leagues going on during the Summer. However, in the winter, then they have a lot of league bowlers coming in every week.

Woo, I won my annual family bowling tournament yesterday with a score of 161!

 

Some friends and I had planned to go bowling last night, but we ended up deciding we all had too much work to do, so we didn't go We'll probably go sometime over Christmas break, though.

 

Out of curiousity, anyone else have a Star Wars bowling ball? Either from doing the Star Wars bowling league or from obtaining one of the bowling balls from it?

 

Nope; however, it would be cool to see what images are printed on those balls.
