Paypal charges a small fee for the transaction. It's one of the ways they make money to keep the service alive.

Current report from weather.com for Saturday is 58 and partly cloudy with a 20% chance of rain. Perfect weather for this.

I was looking at the pics of past paintball outings on the website. Wow, I can't wait.

On a different note, remember today is the last day to pay via paypal. If you are paying onsite, you must have cash on hand.
When you get there, please find me before signing in if you haven't paid yet.

    Thanks.

This was without a doubt the best CF paintball trip yet!

I'm bruised, battered, and tired as hell but damn was it worth it!

Thanks to everyone that made the trek and played their asses off!!! I can't wait to see the gun-cam(tm) footage of this!!!!

Special thanks to Ben for giving me a giant bruise on my ass.

Will the bruise on your ass be on the gun-cam footage Goat?
I thought of you guys often yesterday...and I was heard to be grumbling more than once that I could have been playing paintball instead of working my ass off...I have a giant bruise on my leg...but no gun-cam footage of that either...

Can't wait to see some photos...and stories of mirth and mayhem...

That was an absolutely outstanding event for which I obviously had a great time. Of course I'm sore as hell and sport seem fantatsic bruises but I can't wait for the next CF paintball event!!!

Peaches - Thanks for letting me borrow the gear.
    Sithy - you are ninja.
Goat - Thanks again for the assist with my gun.
Thom - hands down the best war wounds from the outing.
Brickout, Tate, Quad-city folk, Jeff, and anyone I'm leaving out - it was great meeting all of you.
Haz - the gun-cam looked phenomenal in the van and I can't wait to see all the footage once you've edited it.
Lionel and Emma - thanks for the anti-fog spray, it really helped.
And finally, Carrie (and Goat)- thanks for putting together such a great event!!!!

So when are we playing next?

Ah what a fantastic day that was. I think I had more fun this time than I did last year.

How many welts / injuries does everyone have?

Last count I had 14 welts and a little turf rash on my sholder from a fall.

    Boy am I sore today.

As usual, my son had an absolute blast. My nephew was not sure he wanted to come, and then after game one he was glad he forced himself to go. What a great time!

So, until next year, I will crawl back into my hole! :D

NP man! Happy to help. Sometimes those 98s don't throw the bolt back all the way and it doesn't ****. I blame CO2.

Hopefully we can setup another run maybe in March or something? I wouldn't mind setting up 3 or 4 sessions for next year. Everyone seems to really love this event. It really is a great time.

At last count I have about 10 welts but am not to terribly sore.

So, you're saying the 98's go off half-cocked? Or caulked, to get past the **** over-active profanity filter?

    Overactive filter I'd say.

We were likely getting low on air so the bolt wasn't c_o_c_king the gun the whole way.

Something similar happened to me, too. When Goat and I were firing at each other on the Octagon, my A5 stopped firing (and then Goat nailed me). Turns out that I didn't have enough air pressure to rotate the Cyclone Feed.

I'm sorry I had to go early, but I did have a blast at the birthday party.

I got away with only three bruises, one on each arm and one on the leg. Looking at the paint splattered all over my vest, I'm glad I had it because it would've been more bruises without the vest.

My warm thought from the field, taking out DrJawa fromt he side when he didn't even know I was there.

My cold thought, getting nailed from the side by jedijeff a couple of minutes later, because I was out of ammo and couldn't reload fast enough.

It was fun as always sorry for my melt down and grumppy ness near the end school takes its toll. 10 welts man and you guys were wearing armor I only had 2. And more sessions would be awsome.

It was quite funny. Dude needs to chill out big time and not spaz out in the face of adversity.

    The story is this.

We were playing a field called Trenches where one team has to bomb the other teams bunker with "Dynamite". As the field name would imply there are trenches running throughout the field. You can hop over them or you can run in them. The terrain is still uneven otherwise.

Well near as I can tell Peaches took a spill and barrel-planted(I think) while hopping over a trench. In the process he busted his hopper. Hilarity ensued when he swore so loud the entire field could hear him.

I only wish I had the presence of mind to point the camera at him. I think the battery had run out or something at that point.

I can elaborate a little futher on this as I was a part of it. I was in the trench with Brickout behind me, Kate was just above us keeping an eye out. I got ahead of her and we found Peaches between us, she shot him first and then I shot him from behind as he was going down unaware he had already been hit.

Meltdown quickly ensued as Goat explained it.
