He's probably knowledgeable enough to know he'd have to pass a constitutional amendment requiring people to pray three times daily in order to overrule those pesky activist judges on the Supreme Court. No biggie.

Romney campaign: we're "an Etch A Sketch, we shake it up and start all over again"

Mitt Romney has said for weeks that his campaign will be able to hit a "reset button" if he receives the party's nomination, but his opponents pounced on the idea Wednesday when a campaign spokesman reiterated the theme, saying the general election "is like an Etch A Sketch, we shake it up and start all over again."

When asked during an interview on CNN if the conservative positions Romney has taken during the Republican primary season "would hurt him with moderate voters in the general election," campaign spokesman Eric Fehrnstrom suggested Romney would receive a fresh start against President Barack Obama.

"Well, I think you hit a reset button for the fall campaign," Fehrnstrom said. "Everything changes. It's almost like an Etch A Sketch. You can kind of shake it up and restart all of over again."

Romney's chief Republican rival, Rick Santorum, seized on Fehrnstrom's comments, accusing Romney of planning to pander to moderate audiences in the general election.

"We all knew Mitt Romney didn't have any core convictions, but we appreciate his staff going on national television to affirm that point for anyone who had any doubts," Santorum spokesman Hogan Gidley said in a statement. "With the two-year anniversary of the signing of ObamaCare upon us, can voters really believe that the man who urged the president to use his healthcare plan in Massachusetts as a model would really repeal ObamaCare? Or is that promise just something they would 'shake up and restart' with when Romney hits the general election?"

Looks like the greatest flip-flops are yet to come, if the Romney campaign believes they can just wipe away everything he said during the primaries and start over like a new candidate again.

I wonder what he'll change his mind on?

Will he have another realization and go back to being pro-choice?

Maybe become pro-amnesty on illegal immigration too?

Will he try to claim some credit for Massachusetts becoming the first state in the country to legalize same-sex marriage, under his watch?

Romney has already admitted that he still supports the bank bailouts and the Keynesian idea of deficit spending. Will Romney then push for an even larger stimulus package than Obama's?

Romney advisors have already said that they love ObamaCare, and are preparing how they would implement it. So will Romney change his mind and endorse the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act before November?

What do you think Romney is already planning to flip-flop on?

I really do love it when Romney campaign lapses and has a moment of telling the truth.

I'll personally enjoy watching Romney backflip to maintain the conservative vote and try to sway Independents.

His campaign is run by amateurs.

Everyone does this, but who the hell admits this? It is even worse for Mitt since everyone already thinks the man is dishonest and will say anything.

Thanks for giving President Obama another catchy ad, jackass.:p
