    Europe

It has been decided that the annual FanForce Europe Meeting will be in Copenhagen in August 2009. The FFEM has been hold every year in some form since 2002, the places visited so far has been London, Paris, Lisbon, Stockholm, Berlin and Düsseldorf. It usually takes place over a weekend, some times a few days more. If you want to have more information and have an input in the exact dates and timeframes for the meeting check this thread in the Europe Regional General discussion board.

    Oceania

The Auctions to raise funds for the Victoria Wildlife Fire are now up! The first two Items are up, so please, if you can promote these auctions in your Regions, I would be very grateful!!

SAFF will have the elections in May. Relay for Life is in the first weekend in May, fund raising for that one is on track.

Brisbane Supanova happened, many members from all Fan Forces have headed to Brisbane for this one. There Should be some great photos showing up soon.

    United Kingdom

The FF-UK have been discussing the new episodes of Red Dwarf. General consensus is "disappointing". Talks have also begun arranging a weekend away hopefully in the summer. And halibut has just seen Blade Runner for the first time. Deckard is NOT a replicant.

    USA

Pennsylvania - The Vader Project makes its museum premiere and will be on display February 28 ? May 3, 2009 at The Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. www.warhol.org

This exhibition, which premiered at Celebration IV, includes 100 works by contemporary international artists utilizing 1:1 scale authentic prop replicas of the Darth Vader helmet used in the Star Wars films. Each helmet was a blank canvas for the artist to paint, design, and customize. These iconic helmets of the notorious movie villain were created by some of the biggest names in today?s pop surrealist and underground art scene including Shag, Peter Kuper, Attaboy, Gary Baseman, Tim Biskup, Dalek, Paul Frank, Ron English, Jeff Soto, Frank Kozik, Wade Lageose, Joe Ledbetter, Alex Pardee, Suckadelic, Cameron Tiede, Michelle Valigura, Sunich, Mister Cartoon, Marc Ecko, Amanda Visell, and many more. The Vader Project was curated by Dov Kelemer and Sarah Jo Marks of DKE Toys, one of the largest designer vinyl and art-toy distributors in the world.

Currently, the Warhol is the only museum in the US scheduled to exhibit The Vader Project
