Very cool, but it feels like it could use some ships or icons aliens populating the scene.

I really really liked the logo opening to Tron Legacy. Simplistic but slick.

If they can't rent the Fox fanfare, they should have Robot Chicken sing it

As long as it was in the Prequels, I'm okay.
20th Century Fox wasn't a guaranteed distributor of the Prequels just because they distributed the others. I remember worrying about STAR WARS not having the Fox theme.
    http://articles.latimes.com/1998/apr/03/business/fi-35475
But now, after all we've been through and--I hate to say it--been conditioned not to expect STAR WARS movies to completely win us over in every way, it doesn't matter to me. These are the other other movies.

It is an answer, that's what I want and I wanna see hear it cuz I want it that way. Me, me, me. Want, want, want. Not much more complicated than that.

It isn't an answer because answer are meant to inform - so clearly there isn't an answer and you, like everyone else, don't actually know why you think you need the Fox Fanfare and logo.

This thread keeps coming back to haunt me. It's like a vampire or a zombie - shambling through the darkness, making its way to the inevitable, futile end. It mocks me in my dreams and terrorizes my sleep with its eldritch tendrils worming their way through my brain, placing words in my mind that only unshuttered widnows upon aeons can dare fathom.

Deep, like my deep apathy for the corporate logo of the Fox Broadcasting Corporation.

I would like a group of Ewoks and small children singing " If you wish upon a death star"

It's hard to say "that isn't an answer" when my answer is very easily "because I want it that way". There's nothing else, nothing deeper than that. Y'know how when you're hungry and you want to, nay, need to eat? That's how I want a fox fanfare infront of a star wars movie.

Also I'm having trouble wrapping my head around the logic of the statement "so there clearly isn't an answer" when I already answered the question. Somebody dumb it down a shade.

    Question: "Why?"
    Answer: "Because I want it."

Seriously, that's it. That is answering a question. Want. Boom. Done. Game over.

Not at all the same thing - and if you are equating a movie studio logo with the need for food [face_dunno]

    |Because you want it is not an answer - and again if you can't explain why, then maybe you don't.

Most def, I see the Disney Trilogy as those other StarWars films. I hope the Disney Trilogy makes more money than the 6 GL did. They paid a lot of money for the brand so they should get a return.

Because I want to eat, I eat. Because I want the fox fanfare I want it. This is not deep, the only answer for me personally, is that I want the Fox fanfare. That's it. Just want. That is the answer.

    Because my answer .....

.... is that I want the Fox fanfare in front of a Star Wars movie.

    Because I want it.

    And that's the answer.

    Want. Me want. Cool?

Or, in a different way to answer, "I want to see a fox fanfare before a Star Wars movie". And that's the answer. Literally the answer is "because I want".

No - you original statement was that when you are hungry, then you "want to, nay, need to eat". That very way of saying it shows there is a difference.

The consumption of food is necessary to maintain energy, strength, blah, blah. That is why you need to eat.

The issue here is quite different.
