Apparently, this will be called the X-Wing.

Looks like the ARC vehicle that's used in RotS. Probably a later model of that very same ship.

    Dosn't look like a "X".

Looks too much like the ARC 170 for comfort

Remember that the ARC wings split. If this picture is real, and my theory is right, then it looks like the wings on this ship separate as well. Making the theory more likely that this is a later model of the ARC.

Wow, that's kind of a lame name. I guess they're continuing the idea that V-wings started. Before that we had such cool names.

    N-1 Starfighter
    Delta-7 Aethersprite
    Eta-2 Actis
    ARC 170
    Theta T-2c
    V-19 Torrent

But then we get the lame V-wing (which didn't look like a V), and now we're getting an "X-wing" which doesn't look like an X at all.

Depending on which way it's oriented, it looks like it should be called an E-wing or a W-wing. Unless the wings separate, then I guess it could fit.

Nah. Remember the V-wing? That didn't look anything like a V at all. I'm thinking letter designations have nothing to do with the actual look of the ship.

    Shouldn't it be a T-Wing?

That's why we're speculating that it must have separating s-foils, like the ARC-170's.

No, it should be called the CRAP-WING.

These "Rebels" must really be hurting for raw material if they have to take part of the wing of the Arc fighter.

Looks like more of a downgrade from the Arc-170, looks like the "rebels" are kinda poor.

Looks more like a one-man fighter version of the ARC- makes sense they'd want something less heavy and more manueverable.

So perhaps at some point, the rebels manage to procure for themselves a storehouse of ARC fighter prototypes/predecesssors from a pre-clone-wars era...
