Maybe LOTR was Oscar worthy, maybe not. I just get really jazzed whenever a film (or series) of films that I grow to love even gets nominated, much less wins. All I know is that I got a feeling watching the first LOTR film that I had not felt since seeing Jedi back on opening weekend.

 

I got a letter from Craig Parker autographed today! Yay... he said he liked LotR:RotK and he's only in the first two installments.

 

Craig Parker! Excellent! He was one of the people at the Tolkien Gathering in Toronto that I went to in December. I got an autographed picture of him (I asked him to choose which one he liked best of the 3 he had and he picked a close-up of Haldir drawing his arrow back) and had my picture taken with him. He also gave me one of the best compliments I could ever have gotten...he said my Arwen riding outfit was the best he's seen at conventions and the closest to the original! Certainly made my day!!! Bruce Hopkins (Gamling) said something very similar as well regarding my costume.
