Calgary ROTS at Canyon Meadows

Whoops! Had an itchy trigger finger!

Just got the listings for Canyon Meadows theatre - Revenge of the Sith will begin showing this Friday!! Yippee!!
Showtimes are:

4:10
7:30
9:45

Shall we christen the first theatre showing in robes??!! Can anyone make it this Friday for the 7:30 show? I'll be there. In fact I could very well be there ALL weekend and maybe every night until the DVD release

 

I can make it for 7:30 show just need directions to the theater.

 

You mean it's just now comming out at Canyon Meadows?

 

Yup - Chinook has been the only theater in town still showing it for the last month or so.

Canyon Meadows just sent me another update with revised showtimes for Sith:

I don't know the exact address, but the theatre is located off Macleod Trail S., just south of Anderson Road (it's in the same complex as the Bull & Finch pub). Take Macleod Trail S., take the first left after Anderson Road (can't remember the name of the street). At the stop sign, turn right and follow until you see the theatre on the right hand side (you'll pass the Ford dealership, the funeral home and the Canyon Meadows C-train station). You can't miss it.

 

Cool thanks for the info I don't have a costume but would love to see ROTS again gotta try and keep up with you echo. What's the count for you now?.

In theater man I got my work cut out for me then.

same here I work fridays as well so no can do for me.

 

You can take the southbound Somerset train and get off at Canyon Meadows station. You'll have to walk like 5 mins down the road to the theatre. By bus, I don't really know.

Would Saturday night or Sunday afternoon work better for everyone??

 

Friday night works for me, can't on Saturday.

Well, I still be there tonight with another friend of mine. Perhaps if any others can make, I'll see you there.

 

I'll see about sunday. I doubt my gf will want to go to see it tonight, seeing each movie once is good enough for her.

 

I managed to get my hands on an Oilers vs Flames ticket so I won't be able to go tonight, but maybe Sunday.

 

As much as I love Sith.... I'm going to have to miss seeing it tonight as well
My husband scored us tickets to the hockey game tonight and I must do my wifely duty and accompany him (since he puts up with all my SW outings ) .

Sorry Dooks - I didn't hear if you were still going. I plan on seeing ROTS several times this weekend though.

I'd go in my full Jedi robes.

 

I didn't make it out tonight had other things to do and just hung out with my brother. A couple of more times how am I ever gonna keep up.
