I was thinking we might do another table but the dealer tables are uh... $350.00 and I don't know if they have fan club tables for free or a smaller price.

I am in talks with one of the promoters/sponsers and I need know what level of interest the group has in this event?

I have a good deal, I just want to see how many other rogues are going to be there. Table dances are reserved for the unobservant and members only

 

I think we should have a table! I think we should try to sell our wares!! (But not at 350.00 a table... ) Get us a good deal, Marric! Offer to do your table dance for them. That has to be worth something.

And us being one of the greatest Star Wars fan clubs in the Northern Cal region, I say go for a table! Although 360 bucks is too damn much, I have to admit! I'll see what I can do to find a good deal on a table; I urge everyone else who are able to, to do the same. Let's see what we can do!

I'd be interested in helping out. I used to go to CreationCons in So Cal. They were mostly Star Trek, but I always saw a few stormies and rebel pilots (actually, that's what started my whole 'wanna be an Imperial' kick)

 

This is shaping up to be a nice little excursion that we should talk about during our bowling trip and if need be at our next meeting.

The table negotiations are already underway.

Hmmmmm... this would be a good event for us to aim our first costuming debut...

 

Costumes. Oi vey. I need boots, and pants, and a belt, and a robe.... and that's if I keep what I've got started!

Hey, September is a long way off- even with all the extra expenses I'm incurring with kids dental stuff, I think I could assemble a costume by that time. About the biggest expense for me is gonna be the lightsabers- I can't seem to find an afforable "customizable" pair, and I don't want to buy MR one's and chop them up. I saw the clothing portion of Rebel Fleet trooper on ebay for just over $100. With boots, belt, helmet, and spray painting my rebel blaster, I'd probably be at around $300? I found a jedi outfit for just over $100 too. with boots and MR sabers I guess $400. We need to start the costuming thread next month, and solidify some plans at our next meeting.

 

I nominate Ekim to be propmaster in charge of getting everyone costumes!

Uhh..errr....I posted some links on the Costuming thread at the top of the boards. If anyone needs some advice on a particular costume, PM me and I'll do my best to point you in the right direction. *closes eyes and points randomly*

 

But with the blast shield down I can't see a thing... how am I supposed to fight?!

Besides my dashing good looks, my sense of humor is all I've got (well I am modest too)

I am most certain that a certain Jedi(to be named later) had nothing to do with my sudden jesting nature, In fact I am quite certain a rather shiny protocol droid had something to do with it. Upon further review I do beleive Doria(the jedi to be named later) may have had a hand in it
