Any Miami Star Wars fans like Star Trek? I know I do! I have never seen a complete series, as in every episode, but I have watched four seasons of Deep Space Nine and I plan on finishing it. Original Series, I watch random episodes, The Next Generation I watch random episodes, Voyager I've only seen four episodes, Enterprise I've only seen season 3 and 4. Plus I've seen all the movies. First Contact comes in first place with The Voyage Home in second and Nemesis in third. My favorite all time character is Data and my lovely damsel is the one and only Jadzia [face_love]

Who else admits to being a Trekker/Trekkie? [face_dancing]

I have never watched Star trek.

Except last week, i went to sleep watchign the original, and woke up watchign that movie where data gets an emotion chip and goes all crazy.

I think star wars appeals to me more because of its fantasy aspect.

but i cant judge star trek, comsidering i have never actually watched it.

    Ah, Generations. A good one.

I also like Star Wars more, mostly because I've been a Star Wars fan for about 12 years and I've been a Trek fan for 2.

It is good once you watch a few episodes. You might not understand it at first ;). I'm still having trouble understanding most of the science that goes on.

Which series are you talking about buying?

The only female captain of a series is Captain Janeway of Voyager. I can't give you too much backup on it because I have only seen about 4 episodes.

Deep Space Nine is a great series! My second favorite series, but it's severely close to TNG (which is first). The only thing is that DS9 is a series where you need to know what's going on. It's pretty hard to adapt when you jump right in.

im still saving up for a machined saber

Oh wow, I haven't heard of those. You mean the light-up-shaft ones from Master Replicas?

    Thanks alot for the backup

No problem. If you need any help understanding something just ask [face_peace]

Custom machined sabers are lightsabers that are made in mills or lathes.

You can design your own saber at places like randomsabers.com, and some other places.

Oh, i plan on beign very confused so ill just clutter your PM box.

    Thanks again!

Oh, cool. They're pretty expensive. You should check this site out. You make your own hilts however you want them for as little as $30 with just Home Depot supplies. I'm planning on making a few. But on my next paycheck...

You can ask me anything you want, but I'm still kind of a beginner myself so I might not know a few things :p

Making your own saber is such a good feeling, good luck!

If you need any tools or anything i cna lend them to you.

[Good thing were both in miami!]

Yes, very convenient, isn't it? [face_laugh]

Now that you mention it, what did you use to cut holes into the pipe for style 4?

All cuts you have to do there are with a dremel rotary tool.

I got a pretty good from home-depot just for my first saber.

speaking for myself...I have had several sucessful relashionships, and have a very loving and caring girlfriend right now whom is an absolute godess.

I think were all "Nerds" and "Geeks" to someone else, you probably are one for liking starwars to someone, and someone who collects coins is probably a geek to someone else.

Everyobdy is a geek or a nerd somehow, but atleast they get happiness out of what they enjoy some happiness that some miserable 'normal' people will never know.

    standards are always different.

    :)

Yup wise words spoken by a true master of the Force. :D I really dont care if people think I'm a nerd because I LOVE Star Wars. I dont think that it's every gotten in the way of a relationship cuz I think people actually like that I'm so into something.
