W.VA Star Wars at 30 Exibit Opens in Wheeling, WV

Well, it's officially open!! The exibit opened today at the Krueger Street Toy and Train Museum in Wheeling, WV. Seven months in the making, and I'm beat!

We are offering a wide variety of items on display. Anything from carded vintage figures from France to cartoon cells to old Halloween costumes. Here are a few unique items we have:

Original movie film cells
Sample of material used in creating sculpts (toys)
International toy items
Holiday items
Expanded Universe artwork
Foriegn unlicensed toys
Vintage Leia Hoth silicon mold
Original Early Bird pack (I think)

.....and much more!

I'm going in on Monday to take some digital pics so maybe I'll post a couple.

This exibit is from the personal collections of myself and two other fans from the Ohio Valley. And, a special thanks to BigMac for the use of a few of his items!

Grand Opening is scheduled for June 17th 2-5 p.m.Barry and I should be going,and if anyone else here is interested contact FETTISH and we can set up some travel detail where we can all meet to head for the exhibit.

 

I will not be able to attend the Grand Opening. It's on June 17th, and that's Father's Day. I have a boating trip planned with my father for the entire day...

 

Being a father, I'll not be there for the opening either, but may make it up there sometime later.

 

Yes, perhaps we can make a day trip of it on another date.

My husband and I were both wanting to go, but then realized it was on Father's Day.

Its just hard when things are scheduled around holidays and such...

 

Pittsburgh Fanforce is going to this exhibit on Saturday, July 7th so hopefully we can catch some of the Jedi Con in Paden City, WV as well, since it's the same day and only an hour away.
