Idaho Star Wars: Clone Wars (2008) Coming to the Big and Small screen

I am so excited about this announcement it literally took me by suprise. I can imagine that we will probably have a campout for this and other exciting things as well.

Just can't believe there will be new Star Wars on the Big Screen again. 3 years after ROTS no less. And in our clubs 5th anniversary year. Anyways I love this idea. I know Lucas invested a half billion for his animated studios, guess he is using the theatrical release is the way to get back his investment. And as cool as the scenes we have seen from the previews, this show is going to be awesome!

 

Just heard that the toy line is going to include the first ever action figure scale AT-TE. Gotta have that I have been waiting six years for one of those.

 

You just heard about the AT-TE toy? They have been talking about that over at rebelscum.com for like two months! Am I the only one keeping up with the toy news?

Look in the background of the video for a glimpise of the AT-TE (and a voice-changer Clonetrooper helmet).

Rumor is that it will fit 20 clonetrooper figures! Also it may come with a figure and electronics!
Hopefully we will offically see it with this weekends coverage of Toy Fair in New York!!!

I get more excited the more I see more footage. This may be animated but the work here is excellent. Can't wait til August!

 

Yeah, definitely stoked! That new trailer gets me way more excited!

 

So after watching the trailer a couple times, I'm thinking that maybe Anakin's confrontation with Dooku is similar to Luke's confrontation with Darth in the Dagobah tree.
Considering he's on Tantooine also, there is some big emotional ties. IDK, maybe it really is Dooku, but I just have a hinkering...

 

Just read that Christopher Lee is doing Dooku's voice.

 

Now THAT is cool! Sam Jackson was cool, but getting CL, that is just freaking awesome.

 

I guess Matthew Wood is doing General Grevious as well. So four actual movie people are doing their character in the movie.

Wow, definitely intense! I'm started to get a bit more excited for this. Wonder when we'll hear more about the live action show?

 

Got my AT-TE and finally got my Obi Wan in clone armor figure. I also bought the Dagger Squadron B-Wing and the Rebel Pilot Set. Good way to blow 200.00 in a day.

 

The novel by Karen Traviss has been released and I am enjoying it quite a bit. I think the movie will be really decent if it is like the novel.

 

So is there any "official" plan on this? Are we seeing it at a particular theatre, etc, etc?
