ST Star Wars Episode VII Title Speculation Thread

I really wish the title of "Return of the Jedi" had been reserved for this movie and had been instead called "Fall of the Empire" or something more relative to the story considering that Luke wasn't really gone all that long compared to now.

At the risk of losing all credibility, i'm a TPM fan and 'the will of the force' is a quote from qui-gon. Would be a cyclical way of tying evrything together.

As it happens I agree with the point abov saving return of the jedi for ep. 9

I also hope they do not go with a new dawn. It's far too twilighty. If ep. 1 was a new hope it might work but if ep. 4 and 7 are 'a new something' it makes the trilogy of trilogies lopsided

Ahh, I think my title for VII is the weakest of the lot, but I'd be willing to bet money on Balance of the Force for IX - it would be full circle with TPM. Another title along those lines might be "The Living Force," as Qui-Gon used to speak of.

 

People are forgetting that the Star Wars titles tend to be pulpy and a bit cheesy. "Birth of the Republic" isn't either of those things. Star Wars titles are kinda unique among big budget spectacles. And I'm hoping they don't reuse words like "Jedi" and "Empire" again. Also, atleast for this next one, I don't want another "of the" title. Too easy.

Although I kinda like "The Living Force" but I dunno.

The price of victory (this is lame but something that conveys this message for ep 7)

 

Almost sounds like a Bond Film.

It will be something that no one will guess...I mean who would have thought of The Phantom Menace...of course Lucas might not be naming the movies this time so there you go. If Disney follows Lucas' naming formula, than Episode 7 will be about the rise of a new enemy. I really don't want RISE anywhere in the title as its been used a lot lately, but you never know. Ep 7: RISE OF BOX OFFICE
