    That was beautiful, gal! Awesome work. I think that's some of the best Mara writing you've ever done. I loved seeing her evolution from Emp's Hand to Jedi. =D=

    Week #16 Prompts:

    76. Pow!
    77. Bang!
    78. Boom!
    79. Zap!
    80. Pop!

    A/N: Borrowing from the Hazel-verse :)

    ~~~~~
    Strange that when mara and I talked about having kids -- we never asked ourselves "Do we really want to pair the normal hyperness of kids with Force sensitivity?" How do you kid proof a house then? :p
    Pow! And Ding! Bang! and Boom!
    Objects made of therafoam and duraplast went whizzing through the air.
    **
    When the twins started school, it added a whole new level.
    "Mommy! Ben hid the model I was building for school!" Serena piped up.
    "Did not!"
    "Did too!"
    Zap! A spark flared and a fuse went out.
    "What are they building?" Mara wondered.
    "I feel it's better if we don't know."
    Pop!
    "Oh no! Garen's balloon puppy!" Samira said. "We're in for it now!"
    "Moooom!" Garen called.
    Mara sighed. "Tell me why we wanted kids again."
    I laughed. "I'm not sure we ever really did. It was making them that we actually enjoyed."
    Mara smirked. "Speak for yourself." But her green eyes glowed.
    "I am." I rejoined tenderly.
    Kids and the Force lead to hilarious situations.
    Funny and excellent use of those prompts. They lead to pranks
    How do you kid proof a house then?
    That is an excellent question [face_thinking]
    That was a great scene, little kids and the Force can be quite a dangerous mix - but so much fun to read about.
    Mara sighed. "Tell me why we wanted kids again."
    I laughed. "I'm not sure we ever really did. It was making them that we actually enjoyed."
    Mara smirked. "Speak for yourself." But her green eyes glowed.
    I'm from a family of four kids (including a set of twins). This is how our house is on a typical basis.
    Great Job, Jade!
    Excellent use of the prompts - [face_laugh] [face_laugh] - my husband and I were just asking ourselves that same questions ("why did we have kids again?") while watching our kids run around the house crazy....I can't imagine adding the force to that. Wonderful idea!
    A/N: This one is for Kailene the marvy splentab J/J specialist!!!!!!!!
    Num yum tummy--Kailene's last chappie! LOL
    This week's prompts:
    inception, babe, network, avatar, traffic
    ****
    From the inception of their acquaintance, Jag had been in Jaina's blood, his lithe frame and tight butt occupying her musings while apart.
    She'd have the most distracting thoughts of him while taking a saniisteam. "Wanna join me, Colonel?" Oh yeah.
    **
    Shawnkyr favored Jaina with scowls like she was a babe in arms.
    Jaina gave back measure for measure. She sighed over caf. "Does your XO have a thing for you, Jag?"
    "She's ... protective, I would say."
    "You can take care of yourself ..." And me, too, Jaina added, any day of the week.
    **
    The HoloPress network had a field day when Jaina and Jag announced their engagement. But they took a flimsy from Luke and Mara's book and stayed as low-key as possible.
    They would send decoys to one place and silently slip away to another when they really got desperate for private time.
    It was worth it, every single time!
    **
    The Chiss had an avatar or image that was quite well-deserved. Growing up in that culture had made jag a little reserved and closed off at times.
    Being around the Solos, and particularly Jaina, brought out a playful, passionate, spontaneous side that Jaina loved.
    She had also loved the mature strength and quiet reserve he evinced and considered it a challenge to knock down some of his reserve.
    **
    The traffic was fierce. It was their second anniversary and Jag couldn't wait to get home.
    When he did, he was met with a vision in shimmering turquoise. Jaina grinned.
    "Hi ..." She smirked. "Like what you see?"
    Jag thought of all the fun times he'd had with Jaina, the firelit cozy suites, the hidden grotto behind the waterfall --
    "You're a sight to be sure." He said, crushing her near.
    Jaina thought of Jag in black swim trunks or shirtless -- and sighed in rapture - this delectable one was all hers. "You are too, hotshot." She murmured, giving him a lingering kiss.
    Week 18 Prompts:
    Direct
    Produce
    Perform
    Edit
    Distribute
    ~~~~~~

    Mara was direct in her advice to her students. They produced excellent work under her tutelage. They performed superbly and basked in her well-earned praise.

    When one of them turned in an edited and embellished report on a mission, the details of which were not validated by the rest of the team, she smirked.

    When she distributed her evaluations, Mara was quick to put forth the evidence that the details of heroism and fast thinking were totally unwarranted in scope and degree.

    A fine lesson in humility and honesty.

    **

    Mara couldn't help but reflect that her former self would have taken pleasure in bringing down the braggart in some public fashion.

    Was she getting soft?

    Nah.

    A/N: This will fit with a funny bunny featuring Kyp/Liz.

    Week Nineteen: Happy Autumn!

    91. Spring
    92. Summer
    93. Winter
    94. Season
    95. Change

    Liz loved spring on any world. Things were fresh and blooming. The days were gentle and warm. She could take long walks in the time near sundown and feel a soft fragrant breeze.

    Growing up, it had been a time for romping with her friends and brothers out of doors.

    *

    Summer was wonderful, too. When she and Kyp were on vacation on a world with summerish climes, it was great to lie out on the beaches and swim in the sapphire oceans.

    Strolling on moonlit beaches was an exquisite prelude to ... the rest of the evening.

    **

    Kyp, on the other hand, had never been on a truly cold and wintry world. those who had told him he wasn't missing much at all! He did wonder what it would be like to make snow-forts and have snowball fights with his lovely Liz.

    And then ... cozying up with her before a roaring fire ...
    **

    Smashball season -- Liz rolled her eyes at the thought! Kyp was the most loving and attentive guy a lady could be blessed to have in her life.

    But when a smashball game was on, especially the playoffs, if she vanished into thin air, he wouldn't notice until after the post-game show!

    And forget trying to have a conversation -- lost cause!

    Afterwards, though, he more than made up for it, especially if his team won... then again, if they lost, she could think of inventive ways to cheer him up again.

    **

    Though things had changed during their times together, some things never did.

    They never found anyone they were more comfortable with, had more fun with.

    Sharing pains and sorros with each other always soothed the one and enhanced the pleasure of the other.

    They knew for a certainty if they had not found one another, they would not be complete.

    ++++++

    SQUEEEEEEEE!

    Week Twenty:

    The End - but for L/M it's just the beginning :) !!

    ~~~~~~
    96. Cut 97. Wrap 98. Done 99. Over 100. Finish.
    ~~~~~~~~

    As Leia cut the "ribbon" on the latest commemorative interactive museum exhibit featuring the NR's final triumph, she sighed.

    "This is a very moving display." She commented to Winter. "Not like those ridiculous holodramas."

    Winter laughed. "Totally not like Luke Skywalker & His Shiny Lightsaber."

    Leia rolled her eyes. "Stupidest nonsense!"

    "Will Luke be attending the celebration?"

    Leia grinned. "Yes, and surprise! Mara's actually going to be there!"

    Winter smirked. "He'll be very happy to see her."

    **

    Mara was stunning. If her evening dress was any more form-hugging, Luke would have thought she was wearing shrink wrap.

    Luke couldn't keep his eyes off her.

    He didn't care who noticed he was gawking.

    "Stang!" Wedge murmured. "Did she always have those curves?"

    Luke flushed. "Yes." How his hands longed to stroke the silkiness!

    Wedge laughed. "Bet you'd like to ... help her out of it ... eh?"

    "I admit nothing." Luke said.

    Wedge grinned. "Not exactly a denial my friend."

    **

    Mara was glad when the festivities were done and over with.

    Watching all those women fawn all over Luke had worked her nerve!

    "You certainly didn't seem to mind all the atttention." She remarked coming up to him.

    "Hi! I was just being polite."

    "Is that what they call it now?"

    "I wanted to ask you to dance, but ..." He flushed. "I wouldn't have been able to ..."

    "What?"

    "Keep my hands where they needed to be."

    Her eyes flew open wide.

    "You're gorgeous in that, Mara!"

    She smiled and blushed.

    "Luke," She said, using his first name for a change: "If you're finished here, perhaps I might just let you buy me a drink."

    "How about some hot chocolate back at my place?" Luke asked, daringly.

    "Sure." Mara agreed. She had tried the sweet beverage on a whim once and loved it, herself.

    After they finished the drink, Luke even dared to ask Mara out to dinner after their next sparring session.

    She agreed to that, too, insisting it wasn't a date.

    Of course not --

    +++++++
