Who doesn't love a good hug? It's like a good handshake. Just makes the day better.

Yes, but they were required to use caution so that it wouldn't result in attachment.

How does one marry without becoming attached?

Exactly, this is why I'm not a Jedi. With rules that restrictive, its easy for things to be contradicting.

I understand it. You can marry, but don't put your marriage above the greater good. You are a Jedi first.

In the ROTS novel, it warns against holding onto something beyond It's time, which defies the will of the Force because the Force had willed the thing to pass on.

Well, Joonyer, I'll only spoil it enough to say that it's pretty awesome. It's actually one of my favorite pieces of Star Wars literature, and definitely my favorite description/interpretation of the Force. I reread it at least once a year. It adds a lot of depth to the proceedings of...well, everything.

Also, to quote Matthew Stover, the author of the ROTS novel,

The dark is generous and it is patient and it always wins – but in the heart of its strength lies its weakness: one lone candle is enough to hold it back.

Love is more than a candle.

    Love can ignite the stars.”

That's how you marry, as a Jedi. You love. Love allows one to hold back the dark. Marriage is just a symbol of that love.

So I've heard. I've had it since I was 9, and finally figured I was both old enough to both read it and had the time to read it.

    Hi again everyone!

Bones, do you have any theories as to who the lines at both ends of FotJ were about?

Actually, Tim, I haven't started FotJ yet. I'm working on completing my Republic Commando set, and then I'll have to get LotF sorted out. I've read them all, but I've got this weird thing where I have to actually HAVE all the books in a series before I start the one immediately after it.

I can't believe I actually remember it, but when I was a kid my friend handed me a small piece of paper the size of a business card with that phrase on it. :p

One of the more hunourous (and cleaner) joke posters that were put up in the department offices!

    A Round Tuit

Remember all the times you have been so busy that you've had to put off a new task or an entertainment by saying "I will, when I get a round tuit"?

Well, here is a Round Tuit of your very own! Now you won't be waiting on getting a Round Tuit any more!
