Here are a few of the upcoming shows that i'm going to... If you want to go or meet up there that would be cool...

This Saturday, the 17th, Black Label Society @ Amos' South End, Charlotte...
Saturday, March 24th, Clutch @ Tremont Music Hall, Charlotte...
Saturday, May 5th, Type O Negative @ Tremont Music Hall, Charlotte...

The BLS show I will be getting off from work early and I only work a block from the club so I will be walking there and will probably get there about 9pm. The other shows I will be getting the day off from work, so I should be available earlier those evenings...

I'm a fan of all types of music, whether it'd be classical, 80's, Alternative, Soundtrack/Instrumental, Christian. You name it I probably like it since my family is a very musical family. Here are some of my favorite artists and bands below:

    Arists:
    Bryan Adams
    Sting
    Shania Twain
    Faith Hill
    Enya
    Enrique Iglesias
    Cyndi Lauper
    Peter Cetera
    Phill Collins
    Martina McBride
    Billy Joel
    Rod Stewart
    John Williams
    James Horner
    Beethoven
    Handel

    Bands:
    U2
    Matchbox Twenty
    The Police
    Survivor
    Journey
    Simple Minds
    Chicago
    Enigma
Bon Jovi (Old School Jovi Fan)- Livin' on a Prayer...
Lost and Found (Christian Band that my sister got me into)
    Jefferson Starship
    Whitesnake
    Aerosmith

    Soundtracks that I love:
    Star Wars (all of them)
    The Breakfast Club
    Jurassic Park
    St. Elmo's Fire
Phantom of the Opera- Sarah Brightman and Michael Crawford
Phantom of the Opera- Movie Version
    Jesus Christ Superstar

Just a little bit about my musical interests. My first real concert was in 1996 when I went to go see Peter Cetera live at the Fox Theater in Detroit. My last concert was last October when Survivor came to UNC Pembroke and did a performance. It absolutely rocked!!!

Ok, I went to the Black Label Society show on Saturday night. Wow! What a great show. It was sold out, capacity was 1,000 people. There were a few annoying things, having to freeze my butt off for 40 minutes waiting in line to get in, was one of them. It was a little too crowded for me, I'm kind of claustrophobic, and it was way too hot. I was soaked in sweat by the end of the show. But it was totally worth it to see one of the greatest guitar players ever. They played for an hour and forty five minutes straight and they did a good mix of new songs from their new album and older songs. Oh, and it was LOUD! One of the loudest shows I have ever been to. I did not bring a camera because I was not sure if they were allowing them or not. But I found some pics on the bands MySpace page that will kind of give you an idea what it was like.

Are you looking for some cooler weather? I'll be going to the Clutch show on saturday and I don't think it's going to be as cold as it was last Saturday. At least I hope not... [face_praying]

    Shadow Gallery
    Queensryche
    Chris LeDoux
    Toby Keith
    Garth Brooks
    Evanescence
    Kenny Chesney
    Fleetwood Mac
    Skynard
    Sugarland
    Clapton
    Dio
    Sabbath/Ozzy

Ok, here is some info about an upcoming show. If anyone is interested in going please let me know...

Who: Southern Culture on the Skids
    When: Friday, June 29th
Where: The Visulite Theater, Charlotte, NC

This is a great local band. They are from Chapel Hill, NC. They usually play Charlotte about once per year but for one reason or another I missed the last two time they played. Tickets should be cheap, less than $20. Go to the TV Room and check out a few of their songs... [face_peace]

Hey all... just wanted to say that I picked up the new Ozzy Osbourne cd Black Rain today and I gotta say this cd is great. It's his first new album in six years and I would say it the best album he's put out since 1991's No More Tears. Most of the songs kick ass although some are ok, so overall I would say the album is really good and worth picking up. Ozzy is, of course, on vocals. Zakk Wylde is, also of course, back shredding on the guitar and Mike Bordin, formally in Faith No More is back on drums. The new addition is Rob "Blasko" Nicholson, who used to be in Rob Zombie's band. Anyone who want's to check out the first single, I Don't Wanna Stop, can go to my MySpace page and listen to it there.

Hey everyone. I just got back a little while ago from the Southern Culture On The Skids show and it was great. I got a good spot up near the front and I was able to take some pretty good pictures. I also got the band to sign one of their cd booklets for me. And I got my picture taken with the bass player, Mary Huff. I was going to get my picture taken with the other guys in the band but the batteries in my camera died. [face_frustrated] :( Anyway, here is a link to the photos I took tonight. Enjoy...

OK this is awesome...Rev_Vader, you have the same bands at the top of your list that I listen to all the time...

Zao, Demon Hunter, Becoming The Archetype, & Madball, Seventh Star, xDeathstarx, Prayer For Cleansing, Anthrax, MEGADEATH!!! (for the record Mustaine was kicked out of Metallica because James Hetfield couldn't stand the fact someone else thrashed harder and faster than he did), A Plea For Purging, Underoath, Maylene & The Sons Of Disaster, Sleeping Giant, blah, blah, blah, and the list goes on...
