Welcome to the Denver Embassy located in glorious Phoenix... I figured if some of our members would be posting more down here (looks at Chunkers) that we needed an Embassy.

Phoenix FanForce skiing trip!

 

Uh oh... I've never been skiing before, not much interested in embarassing myself infront of the whole Academy

 

You know what, I finally went for the first time in my life last week (I know and I live in CO too ) But I didn't like it. Maybe it was because I spent most of the time sitting in the snow, and snowboard edges are really sharp and I gashed my hand on it... stupid snowboard...

 

Then you can ski with me, Mick. I'm still a novice myself. Woohoo!! Vail, anyone?

 

As far as resorts go, you wanna head to Monarch... not touristy, and much much cheaper

 

Cool! Sounds like Alta in SLC. That's where I go (I grew up in SLC, UT).

Props to you folks for posting on our board yesterday, we've made it a group activity to push our post counts past other cities, first taking on Dallas/Fort Worth then Chicago yesterday and now Minneapolis. It doesn't mean anything, it's just a fun way for us to find reasons to talk more.

We definitely owe ya' one.

lol @ Mick...this is funny b/c the USAF Academy is pretty close to places to ski around here.

 

I always have 2 browsers open, 1 for phoenix and 1 for Denver.

Just checking into the embassy. This is a great idea that we should try to share with the rest of the SW Region. That way the SW will rule the US, sounds fair to me, any takers?

PtrsonsZOO: Our Invasion/Kegger thread idea has been spreading like crazy to the rest of the US, I think the Embassies are just a more permanant extension of that.
