umm... well, i don't see why we couldn't. i mean, if someone really, really wants to i guess they can. unless someone can think of a reason not to.

also, a note i want to make, coaches can be drafted whenever, you just have to have one by the end.

 

On that note, if a GM drafts someone that was both a player and a coach, does that disqualify them from being selected in the other role? Or would they be able to be drafted twice?

 

Its obviously Trimaj's call, but my $.02 would be that they should be distinct and have to specify, such as Isiah Thomas (player) or Isiah Thomas (coach) and that the other would still be available to be drafted.

Of course, if anyone actually drafts Isiah Thomas (coach), we'll all laugh at you

 

i'd say specify. they are usually broken up by age by a decent amount before getting a head coaching gig. i'll have two lists: a players and a coaches, whichever you pick will be put on the correct list.

Alright people, here we go. Draft list. You have Twenty-Four (24) hours from the time you come up til you get bumped. We will be using a rolling bump because I frankly hate getting held up repeatedly. Given who all we have here I really do NOT expect this to be a problem.

There will be no trades until the first two rounds, and I have to judge them to be reasonably fair. There will be no draft pick trading, there MUST be at least one player involved.

Also remember to include the link with your player, even when including someone like Kobe or Jordan. Just make it a habit.

first version of this draft, and first time i've commished one. i can only go by what i've seen work. if it's a problem it can be changed.
