Welcome to the JC-wide uber-cool social thread [insert really nice welcome statement here.]



Origin

The idea for this thread began when Errant_Venture moved the Classic Trilogy social thread into Fan Films as a joke. JEDIBYKNIGHT (one of the users in Fan Films) asked if it was a "traveling social thread" and there began talk of a thread that would move from forum to forum to encourage people to get to know other users from different areas of the boards.


Purpose

This thread is a great way to get to know users in other forums you wouldn't normally visit. We encourage you to follow it around the JC and meet new people and visit places you may not have been before. The whole idea of this thread is to enjoy the interaction of other users in all sorts of environments.



Rules

As this thread will be traveling across many forums, we have instituted several rules that will be enforced very strictly.


Mod-specific

1) The following mods will be tracking this thread as it moves throughout the JC:

Should a problem occur within the thread, you can contact one of them at any time. All the mods, however, regardless of what forum they usually patrol, will have the authority to edit content and take care of TOS violations when necessary.

2) +1 posting will not be tolerated. This thread is not an excuse to spam.

3) This thread will, of course, follow all of the JC's rules, regardless of what forum it's in. Expect enforcement of these rules to be stricter than normal, since this is an experiment. Moderators may remove posts more than editing them to ensure a fun and problem free run of this thread.

4) The usual rules outlined in the TOS apply.

There really isn't much to say besides we talk about videogames and generally act like little kids. Many of us are sarcastic ********s (including myself) and that makes us great. We're really a relaxed bunch and I think everyone really enjoys that atmosphere. The games mods are The2ndQuest, SoloCommand and myself, and together we make up the Fantastic 4 (complete with Admiral Dajuan).
