This is the official thread for discussing Barriss Offee in The Clone Wars.

So we've seen Barriss in "Weapons Factory" and "Brain Invaders". Very awesome! Does anyone think she will be making an appearance again this season? Post any news you have about Barriss in the Clone Wars here!

 

I approve of this thread.

Too bad she hasn't been in more episodes... but I suppose the same could be said about all the "background" Jedi. I'd definitely be surprised if she fails to even make a cameo in the next season.

 

I'm hoping for another double episode with Ahsoka. Brain invaders was sooo awesome!!

 

Just kill off Ahsoka already and push Anakin and Obi-Wan into the background for the rest of the series so we can focus on the adventures of Barriss and Luminara.

 

Barriss forever relegated to Padawan is kind of a running gag.

 

I'm quite sure Filoni confirmed Barriss will be back soon enough but I have nothing else to talk about her right now - there is many other characters who are worth of their own thread but good that someone did one for Barriss...

 

It's so annoying with Barriss forever as a Padawan!

And I agree, kill off Ahsoka already...No, no just kidding.

 

Barriss' heart would be broken "forever as padawan" hey we saw her in two episodes that's hardly forever who knows if she is knight next time we see her?

Oh, and everyone make sure to watch The LEGO Star Wars episode tonight on Cartoon Network! the episode is "Padawan Menace". Wonder what it is about?

No not season4-preview but it is something older infor he said last autumn, so i guess she is in some season4 episode as well- at least if he didn't lie back then... but in interview he said 'Barriss will soon be back' or something... or at least i remember that someone said that he said so .... but i don't know if she has a big role.... maybe it was rumour but hard to think they wouldn't bring her back- there is model for her and all and she is fanfavorite...

 

Yeah, I do definitely remember him mentioning it about a year ago. But it seemed very noncommittal -- something along the lines of "Oh yeah, she'll be back sometime." But since Season 4 looks like it will be using a lot of returning characters and crossing older plotlines, I think it's a safe bet she'll at least make a cameo within the next year.

 

They could have been writing an episode with Barriss in it at the time.

A Barriss thread! This makes me happy.

Quick question - does anyone know how old Barriss is actually supposed to be in TCW? She seemed to have been de-aged a little bit, from what I read in the MedStar books awhile ago. At least, I got the impression she was a bit older in MedStar - early 20's there? She definitely looks like she's in her teens in TCW, though.

Also, hoping she's brought back for Season 4. It was a lot of fun seeing her and Ahsoka interact and do some general butt kicking.

 

In all Star Wars media prior to TCW she was supposed to be less than a year younger than Anakin, 20-23 during the Clone Wars.

But she does seem to be de-aged for TCW, she looks even younger than she did in AOTC.

 

We hardly saw Barriss in AOTC but i guess she is now something like 17-20

 

Must be a Mirialan thing.

They jump around their timeline like the first 2 seasons of TCW

 

Creepy.... sudden aging and de-aging- i'm glad that i cannot have a mirialan girlfriend

 

I could see Barris being killed in the series, considering she isn't in ROTS.

Them ignoring the comics/webstrips.

Though I'm not sure they'd ignore the ROTS comic. They sorta did with Vos, but they had him survive.
