Dutch is a really difficult language (half of the Dutch don't even speak it correctly), but you're definitely doing well.

See, I find it easier than French or something like that because a lot of the sounds are the same as English. mijn / my etc.

My weekend's been freakin' amazing, thanks for asking!

Friday night I went with my parents to a family friend's place. They're a lesbian couple who recently had twins (sperm bank, etc). They are a beautiful pair; a girl and a boy, born March 9th. BEAUTIFUL babies. Lord.

We drank, had a bbq, talked about life, the babies, all that good stuff. They're great people.

Saturday, took my parents to my boyfriend's restaurant for dinner. Mom's been there but my step father hasn't, and mom never had dinner, so we had a HUGE dinner (Mongolie Grill place). We drank a lot more. It was great.

Today, some family came over and we had Sangria and sandwiches and some veggies and dip. A GREAT DAY!

Now I'm chilling with you fine folk, drinking more sangria and having a great day.

Oh, after the lunch, went to Ikea to grab a wall shelf.

Yup, my weekend was perfect.

My weekend's been typical, stuck at work the whole time but slow enough that I've been posting here for most of it. Of course my weekend really starts tomorrow.

Today, I had friends over for dinner, but they didn't really seem to want to leave after three hours. Which is my maximum: after three hours, you should go or I'll yawn and continuously look at the clock.

Friday: had a few heavy drinks in Amsterdam but because of the cold and wet weather, they had a nasty effect on my body.

Just kidding, I do work for the government but everybody here uses the computers for personal e-mail and what not so I don't think we're being tracked... at least I hope not.

I went out drinking on friday night and ended up with that norweigan bloke, drinking till 4 am. Saturday and sunday were pretty quiet though.

 

There are tonnes of gov't workers at the JC. It really makes me laugh.

 

My weekend went by way too quickly, as always. I've had a bit of a cold the last few days, so I haven't been as active as I usually am.
I just played hubby in a muliplayer mode in 007, and beat him! I can't believe it, I've never even played GameCube before... must be beginners luck.

 

Meg, LOL. I love that game. Multi-player is so addictive; you've been warned.

Yeah I got pretty addicted to the multiplayer mode on the N64 Bond game, I think that might be why I'm hesitant to get the gamecube version.
