I was going to go to the Def Lep show (favorite band & all), but decided I didn't feel like fighting holiday traffic (and I saw them last summer with Journey & the set list is virtually the same), so I stayed home & wrote a couple of more songs/poems....lol

    WOW!

First off, Happy Belated Birthday Frank! Any SW themed presents?

Leash Congrats on the Twins. Um a few names come to mind for you sister ( cough" Luke and Leia" cough)

Hope you all had a safe and happy 4th. I worked the 3rd.

Man TOOL was on the riverfront? I missed them? I did not get to see the concert a week ago. Did anyone see Cyndi Lauper " Girls just wanna have fun..........."

Congrats on passing the 2 tests Jedi Runya! We are proud of you.

Wow a trip to Europe! Way too cool. I hope you packed a costume to take pictures of where you traveled. Just be safe. Have funn and we'll miss ya.

I felt that way too(even though I would still read it) until about half way through Fett's scenes in Sacrifice. You may want to read it, Laura. I have a feeling that he and the Mandalorians(sp?) are going to play a very big part in what happens in the GFFA and
the Mando position in things starts becoming clear in Sacrifice
and IMO, will be the tipping point in the war.*

*I don't really know if the highlited stuff would actually be concidederd spoilers but with the ban policy on it, I do not want to take the chance.

LOL, I know. My son loves all the Fett stories. Unless it ends up being a really important plot point, it seems like it would have been better on its own, in its own book. And since Karen is doing the second to last book, rather than the last book of the series, I don't see it as being that important to this specific series. But hey, I could be wrong.
And just to cover all my bases, Frank, when I get done with the book I will go back and read the , um, nice story about the Fett Family.

Frank, according to the Mod thread in Comms, the spoiler period is over... :D

As a reminder, the Literature Forum period for spoilers on Legacy of the Force: Sacrifice is over. You may now post spoilers from the book freely around the boards but, as always, we remind users to try and exercise some common courtesy when doing so.

    Ah, thanks Christina. :D

I haven't had the chance to make it to comms yet this week so I didn't know and didn't want to chance it. [face_blush]

I still check it several times a day. There's just not much to talk about.

In other news: I still can't find a job and sit on my ass all day. EXCITING!

I have one Jon, and it is sometimes mind numbingly boring. Who would have ever thought selling insurance would be boring?!

I am crafting my butt off. I am doing another craft show in Sept. and maybe one in August too. So, paper mache'ing away I am. LOL!

On another note. I actually have an interview today for a one month contract job. We really need the cash so I do hope I get it. Ugh!

I got a job interview for a job I applied to a month ago. But they want me through the school year, so I don't think it's going to work out. [face_plain]

I'm hoping to hear something by Monday from the Employment agency that had a job fair last week.

    That stinks, Jon.

I am jobless right now, but that is a good thing. Between studying and the costumes I am making I don't have time for one. LOL

Good luck to you all... [face_good_luck]

So I think the interview went well. It is a staffing company, so they have to schedule a phone interview with their client. I am hoping they call today.
