Sac, CA The trip to the Mecca of all Star Wars collecting... Sansweet's Collection trip

Thank you, Devin, and the Sacramento FanForce for allowing me to tag along on your trip to tour Steve's awesome collection. I hope to get my pics posted by the end of the week, including the group shot with Mary Franklin and Steve.

 

Hey, Poolio, I'll take a carabiner/flashlight. Would be handy for hanging on my timbuk2 bag.

 

Glad everyone had a great time Sunday! Glad to see so many could make the journey.

It was a do that will be long remembered. Here I was thinking Steve's staging room downstairs, his office, poster room, and Star Wars Library was impressive ... But when he asked everyone to stand in the hallway, hit the remote, and opened the door, and the Star Wars theme started ... Oh my lord! The objects, statues, and signs that I saw in the distance! Oh, I had died and gone to heaven! So many things to see, I am not sure what my favorite was. Too many to list!

Then seeing the gates of Skywalker Ranch, gettingpics, and then being shoooshed away by security... was also alot of fun.

Sunday was a good day!

A huge THANK YOU to LDV for getting us the hook up on this trip. Man you ROCK. I owe you a nice tall Pint and more for this. Cannot thank you enough. The sights will stay with me forever. My son also had a great time. I am glad that we got to experience this as father and son. Now I just have to get him to stop talking about the arcade and remember all the other great items. Again thank you LDV for this and hope to have more cool field trips in the future.

Hi! I was glad to meet all of you and get the chance to visit Rancho Obi-Wan. It made my trip well worth it. Hope to see many of you at Star Wars Celebration 3.
