(i hate this thread with a passion. you refresh your favorite boards page and it shows a new post on FF-UK regional. OMG you think, someone has posted!! . you open the board and it's this crap thread . the boards have been dead for days, apart from the pub, the bond thread, and this excuse for upping post counts. what a freaking waste of time and space this thread is. this thread actually died for a week or so once, and the world was good. then someone wanting to up their count kickstarted it again. oh joy. it is absolutely rubbish. it really is the ultimate spam/+1 thread so yeah, +1)

in the mean time, here's a recipe for a tasty meal:



CANTONESE SWEET AND SOUR SPAM

Serves 4

1 tb Cooking oil
1 lg Carrot sliced diagonally
6 Green onions, sliced 1/4 -inch
1 Clove garlic, minced
1 sm Cucumber, cut into chunks
2/3 cup Water
1 tb Cornstarch
3 tb Each: sugar, ketchup and
1 ts Soy sauce
1 ts Vinegar
12 oz Spam, cubed 1/2 inch
8 oz Bamboo shoots drained

In large skillet, cook oil over medium heat. Add carrot, green onion, garlic and cucumber; cook, stirring occasionally until crisp tender (4 to 5 minutes). Add remaining ingredients except Spam and bamboo shoots. Cook, stirring, until sauce is thickened. Add Spam and bamboo shoots. Cook until heated through. If desired, serve over rice.

 

wouldn't starting a new thread to state my opinion about this thread be more bizarre?
