Tom, what I like so much about Labcab is its smooth, lush sound. I remember hoping at the time that hip-hop might develop in that direction... but then Eminem happened.

 

i'm trying to come up with a list and it is impossible.

 

I could easily have filled mine with nothing but movie soundtrack albums. I lean heavily on the musical taste of movie directors.

 

i did mine really quick. i think if i would have thought about it very much i would have found it impossible too.

Goddammit, every time I try to make a proper list I hit ten before I even get to the letter "G" in my alphabetical by artist list.

So then I tried to make a Top 10 only using Bob Dylan and still failed. Ditto Jethro Tull, Miles Davis, the Alan Parsons Project, Frank Zappa, and even Captain Beefheart because he had 11 albums. Consequently I'm pleased to present:
