I just got an e-mail on the Toronto Trek announcement list, here is the relevant bit:

The Elephant & Castle Pub
378 Yonge Street (by Gerrard)

Please join us for the first Toronto Trek Pub night!
Come out and see friends from the convention and meet
new ones. Everyone is welcome!

It will be a casual gathering and everyone is
responsible for their own food and drink bill.

We will have up-to date flyers, pre-registration form
and some posters to give away from the Up-coming
movie, Evolution.

There will also be a raffle! So come join us! All
are welcome!

Rats, can't make it. Wrong shift. Tragic's still not sure.

 

I might go. My problem is the next few weeks we'll be doing a bunch of stuff and I may end up without money for some of it and unable to attend.

I'm still back and forthing on it. It is on during a brand new episode of the West Wing after all.

I'll probably be there.

 

I doubt I'll be able to make it tomorrow. I'll be working until about 7pm. Ah well, have fun!

Obtain vessel containing edible liquid substance.
Raise vessel to mouth.
Open mouth to achieve desired intake amount while placing opening of vessel against bottom lip.
Incline vessel until desired volume of liquid has entered mouth.
Close mouth.
Move away vessel.
Swallow.
Repeat as needed.

Unless you've some revolutionary way to drink not covered by the above, I'd say that we in Toronto have a pretty good idea how to drink already.

Okay - that was fun.
The food was overpriced, it was much much too noisy to hear anything going on and the service was lousy. But we met a really cool new person who hopefully will join us again.

 

Yes, it was fun. The food was crappy, the service was -godawful-, and my hair smells like smoke now...but fun.

And yes, of course I drank illegally. Just not to excess. Drinking (not to excess) legally is a real novelty for me right now, so I'll just enjoy it.
