I am new to theforce.net but live on Darkhorse, etc.

I live up in Dayton and just wanted to say HEY!

Also - I see that you ride horses and my girlfriend rides English.

So are we going to go as a fanforce to the ren-fest or just go on our own?

 

I'd say if we can manage it, I'm down for going as a fanforce.

 

That'll work, Although I have found the best rule to be Everybody goes down in tiny groups all on the same day. That way, it's fun to run into people, and you can still move around at your own pace etc.

 

I agree with Maramijade. Last year we tried the HUGE group thing and I was in charge of it and well.... it didnt work so well. Same the year before at Ohio Ren. So I got to a point I just propose a date and everyone can do what they want. Thank you to marami for talking me into doing that

it was me, you, becky, menath, dupps, jess. . . were chris and shell there? or was it brad and shelly?

pretty sure it was under 10 people that time. it's just if we all say we are going as a group, it implies that we will be in each store as a group at a time, each activity. . . and if things don't mesh up, people's feelings get hurt.

 

When the Pirates go, we all meet at the front gates, and may start out together, but then we usually end up breaking off to go do other things, and just suggest a time/place to meet for lunch or something. Also helps that we are friends with Elric, the Viking Chain Mail Jewelry maker) so we usually just end up meeting back at his place at various times. Then we all meet at the end to show off new goodies and such. Then we all go out to eat somewhere in garb.

 

I was thinking that we all meet at the front gate on like the pirates weekend or celtic weekend. We all could go off into our own little groups and meet at the end of the day. The people I hang out with have generally went to the Olive Garden afterwards as our own tradition.

 

I meant ORF. derek was included. and zab and bryan. and my brother and his ex.

 

Well, this weekend is Masquerade weekend at KYRF. The 31st/1st is Tournament and the 14/15 is Wenches and Rogue weekend (I gotta go since I'm a Wench )

 

Well, KYRF was fun (and all we really did was shop!)

Tickets are $12 at the gate. Drinks are about $1 and food range from $3 to $5. They have a nice cheese and fruit platter. For thos who want to google map it, the address is: 955 Elm St, Eminence, KY 40019

There are flags right out in front. There is a rather long gravel path to the parking lot and you need to walk through some woods to get to the entrance. About half the shops are in the woods (which is nice)

how does July 21st sound for the 2nd Annual Cincinnati Triforce Picnic?

Edit: to July 21st due to Boss calling me telling me I needed to be somewhere else on the 14th. . .

Ok, I haven't heard anything more about it, but I've got the 21st marked on my calendar as our picnic,

what time and where is a good place for us all? I think last year we comendeered a place at Miami whitewater. . which we can do again, or we could possible see if we can grab some place over in Winton woods.

maybe meet up there around 11ish? start the grill up and go?

we've been putting this off for way to long! we need to get together!

Either place would be fine. I'll bring the spices, an italian pasta salad, and lots of aluminum foil too.
