As good as it looks, I don't think it'll have the same mass appeal that Spidey will garner. But yes - we'll DEFINITELY have to see it as a group!

Gotta say..Jay and I loved the fanboy trailer! It looks halarious! Especially the Hansolo part. Can't wait to see it.

Okay so I'm brand new, but I'm making my second post!

I have to say, I'm a little bit shocked right now... no one has mentioned Fantastic Four yet! Umm... Silver Surfer? Check. Galactus? Check. Pretty much the greatest time of our life? Check!

True about FF it's just under the radar right now but should be a improvement over the first one. Even though I enjoyed the first one my only problem was the Thing was a guy in a rubber suite he should of been CGI I hear they can do wonders with it these days.

 

Hmm... I can see your point. I think the suit idea isn't terrible, but the thing I didn't like about it was that a) it didn't have the pronounced brow that the Thing has and B) it just didn't make him look big enough... the Thing is supposed to have an overpowering presence and I don't think that was accomplished with the suit from the first movie; I have been told that they've changed it a bit for this one and it's supposed to be much more comic accurate, so I'll look forward to that.

 

Exactly the Thing can fight the Hulk and look how good he looked in his movie. They didn't do Jack Kirby justice with the movie version cgi or nothing I say.

 

Ya I really did like the CG done for the Hulk, he looked incredible AND that was like 3 years ago so the technology is even better! But I did hear that for the Hulk movie that's being planned for next year is going to be a suit, just like the Thing... how does that make you feel? haha, hopefully I'm not the bringer of bad news.

Interesting bit of news.........Cate Blanchett has been cast in Indy 4. No word on what character she'll play but since she's such an incredible actress, the film seems more credible simply by her presence in it......

And speaking of the Fantastic Four sequel, I hope Mr. Fantastic has a bigger role. He was my favourite in the first one, but didn't do enough.

Not that Jason (Scott) Lee. Although he was pretty badass in Soldier (with Kurt Russell).

 

The new Pirates (AWE) trailer is up! It looks pretty fantastic - I just hope it's better than the last one....

 

I can't belive i'm going to miss opening night of POTC 3! It'll be worth it though. There is way too much going on that week...

 

Soo... I might be the most oblivious person in the universe but, when does the new Pirates movie come out? I haven't even seen the trailer for it yet; I know, I know, I had to come out from under my rock in order to ask this question.

 

Pirates come out May 25th.

 

Watched Blades of Glory this weekend. Ridiculously funny! In true Will Ferrel style. My favourite line:

'Chaz Michael Michaels puts the bone in zamboni!'

The movie kinds starts off slow, but once they get on the ice, it's utter insanity.
