    Hey all,

    Just thought I'd share with you my next three upcoming projects that I'll be tackling starting tomorrow.

    Here's a pic of all three items. SW Fans will know what they are, as well as the missing items needed to complete em. Which BTW are onroute as I write this... ;)

    [image=http://album.mystarhub.com.sg/uploadImages/deadeye@starhub.net.sg/MVC-002XX.JPG]

    The missing items onroute are:
    1. Accurate BlastTech Rubber T-Fins.
    2. Generic Arcylic Rods, Richie's Armor Cal Pad and Rocket.
    3. PhoenixVader's Sterling E-11 Resin Casted Mag Well and Magazine Clip.
    4. WolfMorgan FX's Predator Twin Wrist Blades for my Custom Gaunts.

    #3 will be custom molded onto my Kenner E-11 with PropFan's Resin Casted Wire Reinforced Folding Stock:
    [image=http://album.mystarhub.com.sg/uploadImages/deadeye@starhub.net.sg/PVMagParts.jpg]

    #1 will be replacing my Resin T-Fins, more comfortable, better grip and of course, movie accurate :D :
    [image=http://album.mystarhub.com.sg/uploadImages/deadeye@starhub.net.sg/webslingerkitee3.jpg]

    #3 & #4 will be custom fixed onto BP's ROTJ FG Right Gaunt for my Custom Mandalore. Left Gaunt will stay true to the ROTJ with Flamethrower and rocket.
    [image=http://album.mystarhub.com.sg/uploadImages/deadeye@starhub.net.sg/wolfmpredblades1.jpg]

    [image=http://album.mystarhub.com.sg/uploadImages/deadeye@starhub.net.sg/wolfmpredblades2.jpg]

    Well, that's it! Wish me luck!

    On another note and another universe, Predator Fans, I will be starting my Pred Suit and Armor project after my Mandalore is almost complete.

    Am going for the first movie Pred Suit with the Teeth Enviro Helm seen at the last bit of the second movie. Will keep you updated then. ;)

    Stay safe.

    Tim.

    P.S. JediJean, thanks for trying to help source out my Prop needs before. I really appreciate it. ;) You're an angel.

    Sry, 635, what I meant was a functional folding stock, alluminum grade. I can get. PM me for more details.
    P.S., I am making a E-11 blaster out of PVC from imperial fleet, 625, I think you already checked it out. He has great blasters and scopes.

    Xeno, appreciate the offer but I'll be sticking with PropFan's Resin Casted Wire Reinforced Fixed Folding Stock. Thanks though for the thought.

    As of now, I don't really need it to work, just to fit my holster fine and for trooping.

    Now, if you had the grip assembly for either the MG-15/34 and T-21, I'd be REALLY interested. ;)

    Stay safe bud.

    MG-15 sterling sub-machine gun ? Man ! I thought the kenner one has great knurling already ! Whats a MG-34, T-21 ? Anyway, I am making my grips of the E-11 out of wood but going to knurl it with my handy and useful dremel ! The number one tool and a prop maker's best friend ! I would appreciate if you can tell me who sells resin kit grips for E-11's, I was thinking of getting one in case. Richies Armour do not sell grips if I'm not wrong right ?

    Hey Xeno, the MG-34, MG-15 and the T-21 are all Heavy Machine Guns, hence the designation MG: Machine Gun.

    To see these few HMG's, watch ANH a few more times. They are carried by most of the Stormtroopers and Sandtroopers besides the standard issue E-11.

    As for the E-11 Grips, there are a few makers you can approach. Prop Fan does some amazing work as well, even sells full blown E-11 Kits, which IMHO, are pretty excellent Kits. You could also try PhoenixVader. He has Resin Casted parts taken off a real world E-11. Looks like nice work, am still awaiting on the parts arrival...

    RA only does modification work, meaning you supply the base gun and RA will do the rest. Very nice work too.

    Richie's Armor Modified E-11:

    Prop Fan's E-11:
    [image=http://www.thepropdepartment.com/images/blaster1.jpg]

    PhoenixVader's Real World Sterling Resin Casted E-11 parts:
    [image=http://hooverae.com/upload/files/gunparts.jpg]

    All great parts and almost all with excellent prices. Give em a buzz and tell em I [Halo_1/Tim] sent ya. :)

    And yeah, I agree. My Dremel buy was one of the best purchases I made in the costuming world. ;) The one Must Have tool every costumer should have. ;)

    Good luck dude, would love to see some pics when you're done.

    Stay safe.

    Tim.

    Hey TK-625,

    Great to see that everything is slowly but surely coming together for ya! :) You've got some good stuff goin' on there, and I'd love to see it when it's finally complete... hmmm, maybe my blaster can get together with your blaster for lunch one of these days, or something like that... LOL! :p

    In the meantime, I'm workin' on gettin' my finances together, so that I can get started on the makeover for my Padme costume and putting together the Endor Leia get-up... but for now, it's back to research, research, research!! And among other things, that would involve referring to my SW "Bible"... ;)

    I guess props-wise, I really enjoy using the Battle Droid Blaster that I've been using so far for my Padme costume. Maybe it's a sentimental thing, but also, I think it feels good when I carry it around with me - haha! :p

    Other things that I'd have to work on for the Padme outfit to get it as accurate as possible... the belt, shin guards, silver armbands, cape, top, pants, and her silver Naboo blaster... so much to do and so little time - argh! [face_plain]

    As for the Endor Leia costume, I'm only in the research stages right now, 'cos I've only recently decided that this is the costume that I wanted to do from ROTJ. I was actually deciding between Endor Leia and Boushh, but in the end, I chose Endor Leia.

    OK, maybe this sounds kinda silly, but I've kinda been fascinated by the headgear for that costume ever since Leia introduced it to a certain little ewok in ROTJ... LOL! :p Not that I'm a huge ewok fan or anything like that, just that that was one of the more memorable scenes in ROTJ that has stood out in my mind... kinda like how Stormstroopers running along corridors may be particularly memorable for some... ;)

    I'd like the Endor Leia to be as accurate as possible, both on the outside as well as what she's wearing on the inside... so no, I don't wanna just be wearing any ol' top and pants on the inside, just because I've got a camouflage-patterned poncho-type thing to cover it up :eek:

    So this means that I'd kinda have to do research for 2 costumes, just so that I can get this 1 costume together just right. 'Cos while I think it's cool to be able to wear the poncho thing, I also think it's even cooler when you're able to take the poncho thing off and reveal that everything is just as accurate on the inside - yeah, baby! ;)

    Anyways, I gotta go now... back to raising finances for more of what I wanna do... hehheh! :)

    Hey Xeno,

    Bondo is not a magazine, it's a company that produces things like epoxy, superglue, silicone sealers, and a few other things that can be found in your neighbourhood hardware store.

    Try any good hardware store. I got mine from a friend in the CONUS. :)

    Model putty will work just as fine though.

    Good luck.

    Xeno, JediClaire, thanks.

    Okay another quick update.

    Managed to mold and bondo PV's Mag Well and Clip to my Kenner. Had to destroy the original 'Mag Clip'housing though...

    Here are some pics of the mods after a quick prime. Still have to add more bondo to shape and sand, After that, will reprime the entire blaster and repaint.

    Without much further ado, I present my Modified Kenner Blaster, with PF's Folding Stock and PV's Sterling Mag Well and Clip.
