Sorry for the fancy Latin, I just added it incase it was a deceiving question. I wasn't sure if you meant the Largest Fish currently living or the Largest Fish Ever.

    That's Ok Richie - I just thought it was amusing that you went to all that trouble! :p

    Anyway, as promised - here is Question 8, folks! :D

    In the U2 song Vertigo, the lead singer Bono starts by saying: "Uno, dos, tres, catorce!" Why is this sentence technically incorrect?

    Apologies for my little hiatus, guys :(

    The answer to Question 8 is:

    "Uno, dos, tres, catorce!" is Spanish for "One, two, three, fourteen!"

    And yes, while Bono has managed to riggle his way out of that one with some artsy-waffle, I still say never trust the translators... :p It's like a girl on Eurovision a couple of years ago who sang a song in English, even though she couldn't speak a word of it. All was fine until she reached the chorus line: "And then you'll be my butt" [face_laugh] :D

    Anyways, good guess Moose (it's better to guess than not, I always say ;) ), but the point goes to Richie =D=

    [hl=green]Richie: 5 1/2 points[/hl]
Nearly there... And now Question 9:
Before polishing leather shoes with a woolen cloth, they can be made to look spik and span if you rub them with:

    a. banana mash
    b. apple juice or
    c. half an onion

    Nope, I have to admit that neither did I :D

    But, as Moose correctly guessed (=D= ), the answer is (apparently):

    c. Half an onion

    I thought it was banana mash, myself... :confused:

    [hl=darkblue]Moose: 3 points[/hl]

    [hl=darkred]Dar: 1 1/2 points[/hl]

    [hl=green]Richie: 5 1/2 points[/hl]
And finally, Question 10:
In Greek mythology, the Chimera is composed of parts from which three animals?

    a. Lion, Goat, Snake
    b. Goat, Snake, Horse
    c. Horse, Fish, Eagle or
    d. Snake, Eagle, Lion

    Well, that was a good round :D Of course the answer to Question 10 was:

    a. Lion, Goat, Snake

    Congrats to both Moose and Richie for getting it right =D=

    Yes, sorry about that - I was going to link the trophy in properly, but it made a mess of my pretty header rule... :p

    But I'm glad you both like your respective prizes :)

    *Flicks on some disco lights and dances to the theme tune* [face_dancing] Ah, it always makes me :D

    Anyway, how is everyone? :)

    I am tired and stuff. Actually, I'm not sure what I am right now. I think I'm awake, but I could be wrong. [face_tired]
