War of the Galaxies Deux

It is a dark time for the Galaxy Proper;
the Rebel Alliance has been dealt a heavy
blow at the Battle of Hoth with the death
of Luke Skywalker and the capture of
several leaders of the Rebel High Command.

With the loss of his son, Lord Darth
Vader went ahead with his plans to
overthrow the Galactic Emperor. For six
months the Internal War raged on and
ended with a climatic and deadly duel for
both Master and Apprentice aboard the
Second Death Star at the Battle of Endor.

But while the Empire and the Rebellion
fought on and healed from their losses, a
new threat has emerged from the pools of
darkness. Aliens from another galaxy have
dared to cross into our own and wage war
against the citizens and its sovereign government.

Now it is a year since the Battle of
Endor and the Rebel Alliance and Galactic
Empire have new leadership, but the age-
old war between the two powers continue
even as the Invaders push forward toward
the center of the galaxy...

The War of the Galaxies RPG is a free-form game. Meaning that the players are free to play out the game as they see fit within reason. This does not mean that players are free to God-Mode as they please. Fairness and courtesy is strongly encouraged from all players. The three Game Masters called the Triumvirate deal with any problems that arise.

Force-Users are limited so its a first come, first serve basis!

In order to have a balanced game, it is strongly recommended and encouraged that players paid heed to who has already joined which factions and join the faction that has the least amount of players.

Players can have more than one character in more than one faction.

Background: Mitth Nuruodo was born and raised on the ice-bitten world, Csilla, in the Unknown Regions. He is one of few older Chiss to break away from the traditions and doctrines of the ancestors for Mitth'raw'nuruodo's more contraversial beliefs. Wishing to see more than just the Unknown Regions, he requested a transfer to the Galaxy Proper where he was introduced to the prejudice and hatred of the Human-dominated Empire, far different from what he was use to in the Empire of the Hand.

Determined to prove to his human superiors that he was just as good or better than them, he transfered to a special forces unit and earned himself a name as a sniper and squad leader. Background: Merark fought in the Clone Wars when the droid armies invaded Kashyyyk. He led many raids against the droids before the Jedi came to aid them with the help of the Clone Troopers. In one raid he lost his eye and his little finger, and the one next to it on his left hand. He went into a Wild Wookiee Rage that sent all his men into a rage as well. He was deadly in battle with his families old Warblade, and his men gave him the name Crazed One Eye after the battle he lost his eye and two fingers. He fought in the final battle of Kashyyk with the Jedi and Clone Troopers of the Republic.

Merark fought against the Trandoshan, and Empire when they began to enslave his race. He was caught by the Empire, and forced to become a slave. Because of his temper, he was hard to control, and the Empire de-clawed him. He was beaten daily by a small human female, which brought him much shame, and a hatred for humans. With a collar around his neck he was forced to work in one of the many labor camps.

He was finally freed from the camp by a rebel raid. It was a human that freed him from the collar that could control him, but before he could offer a reluctant life debt to a human, the small human female killed the man. He didn?t mourn the human male, he had no love for humans, but his temper flared at the fact that honor could not be done. He tore the arms off the female, who thought the collar was still around his neck. He escaped with the rebels, and swore to himself if he could not offer a life debt to the one who saved him, he would offer one to the Rebel Alliance. He offered his service to the Alliance, and swore to serve until death. Because the Alliance lacked men, hand-to-hand combat was limited, and he was forced to learn naval warfare.

Bio: On of the few Emperor's Hand's that existed in service of the empire, Jean was the most trained of all of Vaders' students. Of his knowledge, he had more teachings in the ways of the sith than any of the others combined. Compaired to Lumiya or Mara Jade, Jean could have easily been considered a sith Apprentice if it not for the Rule of Two. His last mission before the death of his Masters was to find the elusive Sith Infiltrator piloted by Darth Maul in the years prior to the clone wars. Background: A widower to a wonderful woman, Randal currently only has his job and his son to keep his life going. This is the main reason behind his tendencies to still fly missions with the rest of the squadron he directly oversees. His son, 20, is also a pilot in the Starfighter Corps and is a damn good pilot as well, yet does not get out of the office as much due to his fathers wishes. He cares too much for his family and his empire. Without then he would be just a shell of a man. If anything, all he needs these days is for someone to love him as an equal and understand him as he is.

Background: Duece was Born on Nar Shaddaa to his mother, Emily D'Lerone. His mother Emily worked in a brothel ran by several different Hutts. Duece's Father, Markus Darrick, was a smuggler who stopped in twice a week to see Emily, and only Emily. Her pregnancy was unexpected and placed her as unemployed. Though the Hutts did find ways for her to earn money, as sick and depraved as they were.

When Duece tunred 16 he was offered a job by one of the Hutts. His goal was simple, find one of the traders on Nar Shaddaa that was ripping the Hutts off and kill him. Duece did it, no questions asked and was rewarded handosmely. From then on, he has been a Bounty Hunter

The Force: None

Background: Born on the tiny planet of Jureno, Tarelen Wek grew up never knowing poverty or any sort of societal ills. It wasn?t until his teenage years that he had his first bitter taste of life outside of his planet when he visited the Desevro while he was being groomed to run his family?s corporation. There, he saw just how bad things could become for a planet. Since then he has vowed to fight for the ?lost ones? as he calls them; the people that the galaxy no longer wants. He gave a voice for these people despite being mostly powerless when it came to galactic politics. He did achieve a measure of success on his homeworld, however. ?The Pipeline? opened up as a gateway for the disenfranchised to hopefully one day become better off than they were when they came in. As the Empire took hold on Coruscant he fought ferociously for the causes he believed in. But in the end he was worse off than before. Eventually he formed a Rebellion on his homeworld, much to the chagrin of his mostly Imperial family. Tarelen knows he might not succeed in his cause and may very well die, but that is the price he?s decided to pay to ensure freedom in the galaxy.

Background: Grew up on Corsucant. Started stealing at a very young age. Eventually foudn out his brother was a bounty hunter and trained under him. His parents died when he was young. He continued hius Bounty Hunter ways. Never any questions never turning down missions. He did what he could to get by with the credits. Bio:

Pax Dellos was on Chandrilla during the early days of the Empire. The Chandrillan House still held most governmental power, though tempered by an Imperial Governor?Governor Grandon Holleck. Pax as a young man interned in the Governor?s personal office and for a few weeks was an assistant to him. It was when he started working as a staff secretary and read the reports of ?terrorist? rebels being slaughtered by the thousands on Brentaal for having violently protested against Imperial aggression. Pax quit and found a position as a staff aide to a Member of the Chandrillan House. At twenty-two, he became Chief of Staff to Darai Coluis, an ardent loyalist and secret rebel. In the House, Darai made impassioned speechs calling for the end of specism and the restoration of the Republic. He taught Pax about the old days of the Republic and imbued in him a sense of liberty and a passion for freedom.

One warm night in the governmental district, Pax was walking with Darai discussing the possibility of channeling funds through the Chandrillan government to the Rebel Alliance when an ISB agent overheard part of their conversation. While they were speaking in la langue anciene, the agent was a Chandrillan noble and translated the seditious speech for a local tribunal. Pax arranged for Darai and several other rebel sympathizers to flee (Imperial Senator Canna Omonda helped Pax with some travel visas before his execution at the hands of the Emperor's agents), but in an ambush, Darai was killed. Dellos escaped with two others and made a circuitous voyage into the Outer Rim. They eventually found a Rebel cruiser that took them to an occupied world, but Pax never could forgive himself for allowing his mentor to be murdered.

Immediately after finding the Rebellion, Pax joined the political branch and began a career working in the understaffed committee system. He is now the Chief of Staff for the War Committee. This committee is looked down upon by soliders as a waste of time, but it is their work that has secured so much funding and necessaries for the war-effort over the years. Pax has dedicated himself to making the committee work as efficiently as possible and to carry out its orders with poise and integrity. He is always working to make the Alliance into a more coherent government with a functioning bureaucracy.

Background: Born in 27 GR, Xander Denieth was the son of two traders on Coruscant. Idenitified at birth by the Galactic Empire as strong in the Force, he was accepted into the order of Imperial Knights. In his years as a student and page, he was acknowleged as a student that leaned closer towards the physical part of his training, most specifically lightsaber combat. It was also acknowledged that he had some trouble with using telekinesis during his training.

At the age of fourteen, Xander was graduated to the rank of squire and is now delving even deeper into the mysteries of the Force and the order of the Imperial Knights.

Background: Lenik was born on Coruscant in 44 BBY. He was recgonized to be force-sensitive early on by the Jedi Council and began his training as a Jedi at the tender age of 3. He was trained by a very traditional Jedi Master who taught him that the ancient ways of the Jedi were best. He completed his training at the age of 25, right as the Clone Wars began. As the war raged on he began training himself to be a more battle-tuned fighter. He did not face many large battles but still proved himself to be a valuable asset as a skilled force and lightsaber user.

Suddenly chaos arose as the Jedi's were soon nearly extinct. Lenik went undercover. He put away his lightsaber and took up a blaster and began fighting as a Rebel Soldier, while training on the side as a Jedi. It seemed that there was no hope for this cause, until a young man named Luke Skywalker came into the picture. He gave this Alliance a cause for hoping. Then he was killed, suddenly, leaving the alliance without one of it's influential leaders. His sister, Leia Organa began to reform the Jedi which gave Lenik a chance to pick back up his lightsaber and fight as a Jedi once again, in this time where Jedi are needed more than ever, as another threat has risen from a distant galaxy.

Background: Monzae was a veteran of the Galactic Civil War who later became a mercenary. A good many former military personnel -- Rebel and Imperial alike -- suddenly found themselves out of a job during most of the Galactic Civil War. Many of them, with no homes left to return to, turned to mercenary work, including Monzae. He journeyed to Nal Hutta and began making plans to reunite the honorable Mandalorian clans there on his own.
