Bloom, IN Ways to promote the club..

I think this is a pretty big thing right now. Making ourselves known in the community and trying to attract new membership.

In a city with over close to or over 100,000 people. I'd day its realistic that there are more then 4 or 5 Star Wars fans in this town..lol

Any suggestions? Flyers in high-traffic areas? On campus?

 

What about writing a letter to the editor of the Herald Times newspaper.

 

Any ideas from anybody yet? What if we create bookmarkers with a Star Wars design on one side & the club info on the other.

Having a fund drive to collect money for Riley Children's Hospital like the Indy Knights have done.

 

I think the flyers is a good idea, might want to think about taking out a small ad in a local college newspaper, they're normally pretty cheap. The bookmark idea is good, but you have to watch those LFL Licensing hawks. Copyrights and all that. Maybe see if local radio stations do free spots for non-profit organizations. A lot do.
