Everyone's here seems like Indy, Willow, BTTF and I do too...even Howard the Duck, which I wish I could understand why ;)
But I've seen no single thread about Tucker, produced by GL and directed by Coppola.
I've seen it many times. Apart from this wonderful cast (Jeff Bridges is perfect, nice background cast too with Martin Landau), the story of that visionary man fighting corporate interests got me hooked. And that car is just some piece of beauty...
    don't you agree?

I think it's a great flick, too. It's in my DVD library, in fact. I'd never heard about Mr. Tucker before the movie came out (I was about 11 at the time), and it really gave me an impetus to do some reading about automotive history.

I just checked Amazon's UK site, and it didn't have any listing for a region 2 edition, unfortunately.

TUCKER is one of GLs best films > and one of Francis Copplla's best as well. I saw it when it first came out in 1988 and have always loved it. It's their 'Frank Capra' movie. I think it parallels their personal lives as well. A real classic.

the Tucker is a very unique car. Saw a real one in the parking lot when I came out of Sears, and it just fascinated me, as I didn't know what a Tucker was at that time. :D

Tucker is a very sharp movie. I love the photography and the characters; Bridges is wonderful. Back in 1988 (I believe this was the year it came out) I was a teenager working at a cinema. This film got a lot of business and did well.
