Point taken! How about I say I like projects that are mostly open-source? :p

My choice is Firefox, although currently I'm using Opera to post this.

Since Firefox 3.5 came out, Google Chrome has become my main browser on Windows. I still use Firefox 3.0 on Linux, because it just Shuts-Up-And-Works(TM).

Firefox. Safari isn't too bad either.

If I had to guess why LT uses Chrome is because it's faster and not as bloated as 3.5.

I primarily use Firefox, not only for it's awesome add-ons, but because some sites I visit run so much better on it. I also occasionally use Safari.

The add-ons are probably the main reason I use FF exclusively. I also really like the speed of the browser and the fact it usually renders sites properly.

I use Firefox because it gives me add ons that allow me to use IE in their browser if some sites are still not on the ball and are not FF friendly. I enjoy Beta testing stuff and I got to Beta test a newer version of FF a while back I believe. Forgive me if I am mistaken, I have done that with a lot of products. It helps me learn, like I am ALPHA testing Paint.net 3.5. But back to FF, it gicve you so many add ons, you can make it YOURS. and it is much more friendly to use that IE. Thou I willn ot knock IE, I like it. Safari has been one that I just don't get. Chrome caused me a lot of headaches with Yahoo mail.

I completely forgot about the feature that allows you display a site in FF as if you were using IE. Extremely handy combined with FireBug for live editing of sites.

My browser of choice is SeaMonkey. I use SeaMonkey 1.1.18 on my desktop and SeaMonkey 2Beta2 on my laptop. When SeaMonkey 2 is fully released I'll use it on my desktop too, but the last time I used it I left it running overnight and it used up all my RAM.

I've read a bit about Sea Monkey but haven't tried it out as of yet. I haven't tried Chrome either.

Other. I prefer Mozilla's other browser, SeaMonkey. Has a few more features than Firefox.

I've unexpectedly been converted to the joys of Chrome. :D

Seriously ... it has no extensions (technically it does, but you have to load the dev version and there are barely any), it's a bit weird sometimes, I'm not really sold on the look ... but as has been noted above, it is fast. That alone is rapidly making it my browser of choice.

One nice thing about Chrome is the individual process threads for each tab. You can "crash" a tab and not destroy the entire session...which comes in handy. :p

Well, these days I'm not using Chrome as much as I was back then, but Salty was right--the main reason was that 3.5 used to be slow and clunky on the machine I was using. That's not so much the case nowadays as Firefox is the one that seems to be in the top slot for "Just-Shutting-Up-And-Working"

Back then, my problem may have been add-on related. 3.0 add-ons for 3.5 or some crap like that. It's since worked itself out, and Firefox is running great. Chrome's still good though, and I still use it now and then.

I absolutely love Firefox. But I find that it is taking more and more computer memory with each release. that's why I am starting to really like Opera!
