it hurts. . .maybe, just maybe, the name that lucas chooses will be okay. probably not though.

I'm sure that most of you have seen the rumors flying around the Internet right now about the Episode III titile.

Some places are reporting...

"Revenge of the Sith"

and others...

"An Empire Divided"

In the case of the second title, I think some media outlets have gotten confused in regards to all the hoopla this week surrounding the new MMORPG "Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided."

TheForce.net even has a POLL on which rumored title people prefer.

Well, in FZ, the exclusive clip of Episode III reveals the title to be:

The Danger of the Force

Is that cliche enough?

That's worse than 'Attack Of the Clones'! At least AOTC fitted in more with the other titles than DOTF, in my opinion.

But, it does sound like something Luca would do.

No, but I read the whole script and there's only one dance scene(totally not a cantina), but they focused on the dialouge, so it really didn't impact me.

 

That wasn't what I was referring to. I was actually referring to the diner scene.

Oh, Dana, I didn't understand that you meant diner when you said cantina. Cantina does not equal diner for me. It would still be Chewie. I can just hear him... It would be hillarious.

Hey, maybe in Episode 3 they'll severely wipe C3PO's memory and explain why he doesn't realise that 'Thank the Maker' means 'Thank you Darth Vader'.

Acutally, rumor is floating around about
"Birth of the Empire".

It's okay I guess.

 

If it weren't already taken, I would have loved Dark Force Rising. I think most likely, it'll be something referent to Ep. 6. Fall of the Jedi maybe?

 

I don't like the idea of two titles ending in "of the jedi"

 

Since Ep 4 is "A New Hope" and Ep 1 and 2 were...not as good as the OT, let's call it "Star Wars: All Hope Is Lost"

True, the hope analogy would be poignant. I can see it being Jedi-related. Of course, if it were myself, I would call it what I called my darkest installment of TOH--The Dying of the Light.

 

Well, that title *is* totally awesome but it's a little heavy for a Lucas film (or a PG film). The darkest title he's ever done is "The Temple of Doom" and even that wasn't that dark.

Is anybody else worried they're gonna cry at Episode 3? Or just me? I mean, Anakin goes off the deep end, democracy is destroyed, the Emperor goes to being evil all the time, Padme and Anakin break up, the Jedi all die, Padme has to give one of her babies away to Anakin's step-family and, JarJar will probably die (oh wait, most of you would be HAPPY that happens...)

I get all sad just thinkin' about it.....
