I'm thinking of getting started doing a Star Wars radio thing... I have experience in sound recording, but am wondering where I can find a cheap mixer (around $100 US) to use while recording sound from a couple of microphones into my computer.

Here's the issue...one...that's pretty cheap unless you're buying used. Two, you need to know how you're going to export the dialogue from the mixer to the computer. Some mixers use Zip Disks, DAT, CD-R's, etc. Once I know how you plan on transferring it to the computer then I can help with a mixer brand and model.

I actually found a nice one on Radio Shack.com. It's only 89.99. Do a search for mixer boards and you should find it (I can't remember the exact model right now). Tell me what you think. And I'm sure I can somehow transfer the audio to the computer in some way.
