Which sports have YOU played?

Which ones have you played in a league?

It's been several years since I've played any (in a league), but my only two were Baseball and Basketball.

I only played basketball for one season, and didn't score any points. In-fact I only got the chance to shoot the ball a grand total of four times.

As for baseball, I played in six seasons. From ages 7 to 12. I actually got to be a pitcher in a some games in two different seasons (ages 9 and 10). And I actually pitched more successfully than the other pitchers on my team (at least the first year) mainly because I couldn't throw the ball as fast, and the batters on the other team were use to faster pitches, so they'd miss.



So how about you guys/gals, what sports have you been in?

 

Let's see.. way back in elementary school I played soccer in both spring and fall, basketball in the winter, and swam in the summer. Then I dropped soccer (for time reasons), then swimming and before long basketball as well as the teams became more competitive and I really couldn't compete anymore.

 

I swam and played water polo for the university team.

 

Back in elementary school, it was baseball, basketball, and swimming. I quit all three once I got to middle school because I was never really any good at any of them. I played tennis all four years in high school and really had fun doing so.

Other than school sports, I occasionally play racquetball, badminton, and croquet (which is my dad's favorite sport in the world).

 

I've played football and been on a swim team.

 

oh, and I was on the JV Golf team for 2 years in HS. Didn't have the time to practice enough to have a chance at making varsity, which is why I quit after those two years.

 

I was on a track team back in high school. And I play basketball and soccer every year Armenian-American olympics... better known as Navasartians.

 

Swimming from 1990 to 1995
Basketball from 1993 - 2001
Cricket from 1997 - 2004
Tennis from 2002 - 2004

Played a fair few School and Uni Sports as well, such as AFL, Softball and Netball

 

I played soccer when I was really little, and again in either grade. I ice skated all throughout lower and middle school.

And that's about it. I'm not a very good athlete.

 

Football (American). Linebacker in High School, Nose Guard for a year in Semi-Pro.

 

I played outfield (baseball) in the little league when I was younger till middle school. I stopped after that though, and started playing basketball for fun. I didn't really play much other sports except football with friends every once in a while.

 

Soccer and baseball little league.

I've played in roller hockey leagues.

I wrestled in high school.

Making me 6'3" and suck at basketball is God's idea of a cruel joke I suppose

Then I realized I loved theater, and it mostly stopped. I still play soccer in three leagues. Just, you know, for fun.

 

LOL, no, though that always looks like fun. I am not, however, willing to go anywhere near those horrible smelling pads. Rugby, FTW!

 

I used to play tackle football in my neighborhood when I was a kid. Good times.

Yeah, but even though I've played tons of sports for varying amounts of time (from 12 years for softball down to only 1 year for soccer), I haven't played a sport competitively now for almost a year and a half. Sad I still swim on my own, though.

Hmm... Took Soccer one year and was on the swim team for one as well. I've danced and taken drama for 13 years though, does that count?
