Who should be the new chief of State?

Winter, Ackbar, or Garm Bel Iblis.

 

I'd go for a fresh new character.

just to be silly i voted nom anor but it should be an entirly knew character.

 

Leia. She's the only one who can keep it together.

 

I think someone like Gavrisom or Mon Mothma is needed, because everytime Leia is Cheif of State her family and her suffer severly.

 

Wedge. Good tactician, good strategician, well liked and respected by most everyone. He's got connection in the upper echelons as well as amongst the smugglers and whatnot. He's experienced in leadership, in getting done what needs to be done, and he doesn't put up with ******. Wedge would be the perfect leader to sweep up the Vong and then to rebuild. Plus he's a nice guy.

 

Gavrisom or Mon Mothma.

Darn! I changed my mind. I had originally thought that Jacen might make a decent Chief of State, but then I realized that the rest of the GFFA does not run on the same ideals that the Jedi do. He would make a good mediator but not a Chief of State. If I could change my vote I would vote for someone new. (Sorry about that )

And if you reckon he's getting old, well, look at Riekeen...HE WAS ANCIENT LOOKING AT YAVIN! Or was that Jan Dodonna, and was Riekeen the dude at Hoth who was commanding it all. And someone who personally went on commando missions against Imperial targets would be more realistic and would promote tactics where the guys on the ground (not meaning literally just the army, inclusive space battles and atmospheric flight) would survive, more so than for example so power-hungry maniac like Borsk. If Madine is somehow incapable of leading the NR (maybe he died or something) then Riekeen.

 

Rieekan was the "dude" commanding at Hoth as in "General Rieekan thinks it unsafe for any ships to leave the system until we've activated the energy shield."

 

It should be Leia (call me old-fashion but oh-well)

but realistically when (this is all speculation on my part no actuall spoilers) Borsk dies in Star By Star Viqi Shesh of Kuat (i think thats her name) will be the new one.

I don't think Wedge is experieced enough in politics. He admits this himself and has said that he doesn't want to get into politics. Cracken would be a good choice.

 

Yeah, but in this situation we don't need someone who'll be political, we need someone like Wedge who'll tell them sit down, shut up, we're doing this my way unless you have a better idea, and once we're through the crisis then I'll hand you back to someone who cares.

 

Yeah, but I think that the senators would bog him down with political processes that he's not familiar with.

I think that Asyr would combine the qualities in Wedge and the qualities in Borsk that would make for good leaders... If they would only bring her back...
