SWRPF Archive WOTG- Alliance of Free Systems

This thread is the dedicated faction thread for what once was The New Galactic Republic. These Factions may name themselves, but their leadership is soley cellular. These Warlords control the area that they are stationed in. The Warlords are controlled by a loose alliance under the heading of President Jace Halycon. Soon he will be posting a new roster that has both the Warlord's names, their subordinates, and the area, resources, and facilities they control.

It's an honor for me to make the first reply to this thread, and to work towards paving the way for a Republic of the future...

I'm still having difficulty swallowing the name, but it'll pass.

That said, can we have a map that actually works here?

Also, what kind of command structure/government structure/organization will we be having? IMO, one of the key flaws of the New Galactic Republic was the lack of organization and coordination.

Lastly, I don't want to be fussy but why wasn't President Jace_Halycron the one to create this thread?

 

Just a small note. Each of your small rebel groups will be expected to keep exact planet and ship numbers. That should be your first order of buisness. Dividing up the resources and planets. Then once there is a set list for each person/faction, decide from there.

 

It seems like the territories are now ruled in a feudal-like system. Everyone governs there territories how they wish and pledge their loyalty to the "King" or President.

Yomin, I would suggest the sector extensions are to outline the seperate areas of predation of each Warlord.

Background:
Kenman's life, especially his preteen years, is still sketchy and shrouded in myth and misinformation. He was a clone of Kenneth Huan created by his "grandfather" Garran Huan (father of Kenneth Huan) to mold into his personal servant after his own son Kenneth rebelled against his father. When he was young he was taken away from Garran and placed under the care of several friends of Kenneth (who was still unaware of Kenman's existence).
At the age of 15 Garran finally found Kenman and forced him to aid him in an assassination attempt on Kenneth. The attempt failed, and Garran was later sentenced to life in prison, but Kenman was spared and placed in the custody of Juren Nast, one of Kenneth's closest friends, since Kenneth himself (Kenman's "father") was always busy with war and stuff.
After Kenneth's unfortunate death, Juren decided to begin grooming Kenman to be his replacement. His first real combat experience was on the snow world of Alzoc III, where Juren and Ken liberated the planet from Imperial rule.

And on which planet the Jedi Coucil is on and or if it is still standing?

 

There is no Jedi Order, no Jedi Council, no Jedi planet. The Jedi are dead. Any remaining "Jedi" are Rogue elements, and not true Jedi.
While they follow the beliefs of Jedi, and use the same skills, the actual Order of Jedi is no more.

Haha. I don't think so. I'm not a GM, but I made the current Force System. You will start with Mind Trick, See Force, Telepathy, and Telekinesis. This is standard for all new players (or long-inactive players).

First of all, Yomin. I made the map. It is only a rough, unofficial division i created in 5 minutes to give people an idea of the area they controled. It by no means should be considered a definitive list of what systems we control. And one must remember that the space in between the "lifelines" is NOT AFS controlled.

So who am I assigned to /or serve?

 

Question: Seeing as your faction's name suggests that you control assorted systems, may I assume that you still retain the systems which used to be part of the now defunct Republic?

And how will ship growth be divided up? Will each section get a portion of the Alliance of Free Systems' total growth, depending on how much they contributed to the growth, or perhaps an equal amount per section?

And finally, what planets are controlled by each section? Will each section have its own capital planet, or will it be less of a unified nation, and more of a loose confederation?
