Nice texturing and details, the droid looks kind of----well, different, but so does the new droid for SW Episode III, the seat could use some work but everything else looks top-notch.

Fan-Filmers are going to go ape for this, seriously.

Looks good. I'd fix the astromech, but all in all, I can't wait to see the finished product.

You're going to need to do some edge rounding before your final render to give the light a more natural and real feel on the edges. It seems to obviously CG right now.

    Still awesome.

    Bert,

I've been following SCIFI3D since day one, and I will say this - you're one of the most consistently amazing and inspiring 3D artists I've seen in this community.

Thank you for continuing to share screenshots of your ever increasing projects. I thoroughly enjoy looking at them.

The animation and texturing look fine, the only problem is the arms, they look folded at the shoulder. It seems like he is talking so I guess you will have to set up the mouth. Anyways, good job, looks like it will be a great movie.

I like it too. Really kool. It took one hour to render that?? Why? Is there a huge amount of polys.. or you're using Brazil or something?

Finished my exams last week, then I went snowboarding, and last think I remember I wanted to model was an xwing cockpit (guess why?). And when I come back, tada! I find one, almost done. Great work, hope I'll can ply with this one soon.

I'm still looking for pictures from this star wars expo, that took place two years ago, showing many original costumes and props. I looking for awing and bwing pilot suit. I remember there was a link to a tone of those pics. Please help me.

I've just downloaded the video. I had to restart three times and finally used Getright because it always stoped downloading before it finished.

I also agree about the shoulders (my mon calamari pilot looks better, the body at least :p )
and also about the whole pose, he doesn't seem to be seated, but standed up. And I think you don't need Brazil. You can get scimilar result using a couple of light and scanline render.
