U'tek
prison - interrogation block

U'tek saw the last stormtrooper fall dead at the end of the corridor, preventing the door of the turbolift from closing. The element of surprise was, surprisingly, on the Alliance's side, thought the Cathar. He would have expected more of a fight, seeing how they were on enemy turf and the alarm klaxon was going off like there was no tomorrow. But, obviously, the Imperials would regroup, more organized and in greater numbers...

"Reloading," he called to Cole as he quickly pulled out his empty magazine and slapped in a new one, raising his carbine back to his shoulder. He looked down the cell block that they were currently standing by and saw nothing of immediate interest, just closed doors. Were they going to have to knock on every single one of them?

His answer was provided in sounds that were coming not too far away. Glancing at Cole, he nodded his head to advance up the corridor some more to what was most likely the next set of cell blocks. Over the din of the alarm he thought he could make out sounds of struggling and shouts. Were the prisoners revolting?

Coming up to the intersection with the next cell block, U'tek quickly stuck the business end of his weapon around the corner. He immediately saw a haggard-looking human female standing in the middle of the cell block corridor, with a pistol no less. Could that be Romar? Of course, after being in this place, the image that the Colonel showed them of Romar wouldn't match her current appearance, but U'tek didn't have a good enough view to even guess. Romar or not, a prisoner in this place was likely not in the best frame of mind, and he definitely couldn't trust one with a weapon. And with Sith in this place, hell, who knows what fashions they decided to prance about in.

Aiming at the woman, ready to send three rounds into her, he shouted. "Alliance! Halt! Drop your weapon!"

Hopefully she would listen.

Kira Romar
Interrogation Block, Gesaril Prison

She stepped out and saw the Stormtrooper standing above the boy. Weapon drawn, ready to execute the poor guy. You have to save him, remember . . . save him . . .

The force rushed into her and everything became terrible slow. He senses sharpened, her muscles aching but forced into submission by her will. "Alliance! Halt! Drop your weapon!" Came a voice from behind. Alliance. They had come for her after all.

Her hand didn´t stop to rise, turning her back on the arrival, a Cathar as she rgistered from the corner of her eye. The finger of the Stormtrooper slowly pressing the trigger, her own weapon raising, aimed to his head. The soldier surely made no empty threads. Not in that environment. He would shoot. He would kill her. If she dropped her pistol, the boy would die. The boy the force wanted to live.

So be it, Kira. So be it. Die for the force and after all it might give you free . . .

Her hand raised even faster. She could have tried to use the force to save her from the soldiers shot, or shouted her name in the hope he would recognize it. But all that would have lowered the boys chances to get saved. And she didn´t wanted to. Not really. She simply brought up the pistol and fired a single shot, before the sotrmtrooper could kill the boy. And as the imperial soldier collapsed she closed her eyes and awaited the deadly answer from her own people.

At least it is no Sith. Finally . . . we have come to the end.

A smile crawled onto her lips and she awaited the deadly shot before the Stormtrooper would have hit the ground.

Jacen Cole

Interrogation Block, Prison

He gave a last shot at one of the troopers and followed U´Teks lead. The Empire hadn´t prepared to be assaulted by small forces, obviously. Or they were doing just exactly what the Empire wanted.
Or what the Sith wanted?

"Alliance! Halt! Drop your weapon!" He heard U´Teks voice behind him and turned. And there she was. Not dropping her weapon but shooting at something not in their sight. The greatest shuta of ´em all. The crazy, genocidal Kira Romar. Black Widow of the Third Fleet. And it was perfect. He just had to do nothing and U´Tek would shot her. Kill her. He would just say he hadn´t seen her. Do nothing.

His arm moved without any conscious command and he pushed U´Teks weapon to the side. "Hold fire. That´s this Romar Colonel Tahnan is after." He said. And probably even a Cathar could see his surprise about himself. He nodded into her direction, then turned to the tunnel behind them, again. Why had he done it?

"Get her, we must move fast."
He only said to U´Tek and tried to avoid her eyes. Only now he saw a second man a little behind. A dead stormtrooper lying on him. Romar had saved his life. At least he hadn´t only saved her.

In Hell

"Alliance! Halt! Drop your weapon!

Si Kya blinked stars from his eyes, suddenly glad that he was about to die. The other Stormtrooper was down - dead - and Si hated himself for it. He'd never killed anyone, managed to avoid doing so throughout the War, and had never intended to kill anyone. Cruel Fate - generally known as the Force by his family - had killed the man, and Si stared at the soldier, his helmet having rolled away to reveal a teen who wasn't much older than he. Possibly younger.

Si looked up to see the Stormtrooper turn, pointing at someone else. Si slowly gathered his feet beneath him - he wouldn't have someone else killed because of his actions - and then the Stormtrooper was down, atop of him, and he struggled to move his head to see her. Her eyes were closed, and she was smiling, as if accepting her fate. Si Kya, the half-brother of Sae Kya, instantly recognised her from the Museum pieces he'd seen before the War had ended.

It's Kira Karking Romar.

A voice cut across. "Hold fire. That´s this Romar Colonel Tahnan is after." The name rang a bell, and Si pushed aside the trooper, and pushed aside his horror of this meeting. He'd dreamt of meeting Kira years ago, in the civilised world, and here he was, clad in prisoner breeches, having not had the chance to clean-up for... how long? Si didn't know.

"Get her, we must move fast."

Si pushed off the ground, shakily, towards the Alliance team, hefting his stolen blaster with a little scowl. "I'm a Reservist, um, Captain. Care to take me along for the ride?" Si didn't look at Kira. He couldn't. He hoped she wouldn't recognise him. He didn't want reminding of Roon. He certainly doubted she did.

U'tek
interrogation block

He saw the woman raise her blaster at something in the cell and fire - and U'tek didn't fire back. There was too much doubt in this situation. Did she just shoot a prisoner? Maybe a guard? He didn't want to blow away someone that may very well be the person they were after.

But Cole pushing his weapon away and identifying her as Romar ended all his doubts. Why, though, did Cole do it with so much hesitancy and with a pained face, he wondered as he briefly gave his colleague a quizzical look. Never mind.

He raced out from behind the corner towards Romar, his weapon still in his shoulder. A prisoner emerged from the cell that Romar had shot into, holding a blaster. Great, a bunch of mentally and emotionally scarred individuals with firearms. The chances of this actually helping their escape didn't sit well with U'tek.

He was soon next to both Romar and the man. The man said something, but U'tek didn't bother listening. He took a quick glance into the cell. A couple of dead Imps. Good. Letting his weapon hang on its sling, he turned to Romar and the man and firmly grabbed their arms.

"Look," he began in a low but stern growl, "we're getting you out, but you better look me in the eye and tell me that you can shoot these weapons because I don't want the rescuees to become a liability to the rescuers, got it? And are there any other prisoners? Answer, now!"

Kira Romar
Corridors, Prison

The boy came to his feet, as she opened her eyes. And she felt the faint of gratitude in the force. And seeing her fosterling and feeling that presence made her finally understand.

She didn´t say anything. She was still alive. Someone saying her name behind her. And Colonel Tahnan´s. A sad smile replaced the relieved one. Of course. Tahnan. Old friends throwing themselves against the Sith to save her. She hoped he wouldn't share the fate of those before him.

A Cathar grabbed her arm and her hollow eyes searched for his face.
"Look," a stern growl came out of his mouth. She tried to focus on it, "we're getting you out, but you better look me in the eye and tell me that you can shoot these weapons because I don't want the rescuees to become a liability to the rescuers, got it? And are there any other prisoners?" She hardly heard him. Her body began aching again, as the force dimmed inside of her. "Answer, now!" The now ripped her out of her trance. Raising her eyes she suddenly felt her power return. Focusing on her pain. The force rushing into her very movements again, as the danger became apparent.
For a long moment she looked at the Cathar. Shoving aside her melancholy. These men were here for her. She could afford to give up. They couldn´t. They wanted to live.

After the endless second she spoke with a voice of someone who had once commanded fleets. Someone who had spread death in the lines of her enemy like a furious plague. "I am fine." She replied. "Section Twelve has shuttles. Considering the hastiness of these troopers . . ." she pointed at the two dead. Killed with her bare hands. "I assume these shuttles are already cleared for take-off. They won´t expect us to show up, there, once they know we are breaking free."
She turned the energy output of her blaster up and looked at the two soldiers. The human was familiar. He tried not to look at her. As did the young man she had rescued. As if her eyes could infect them with the darkness inside of her. Only the Cathar looked her straight into the eyes. She preferred to speak to him, because of that.
"We should move." She added and prepared to follow these men. "Sith will be here, soon."

As they were about to go, she grabbed Si´s arm with a sudden, perhaps a little to firm grip. "You look a lot like your brother." She said with a sad whisper. A bitter smile on her face. Then she let him go.

Actually she saw Sae´s dead eyes in his reflected.

Still in Hell

Si hoped that she hadn't recognised him. Hoped so much.

"Look," a stern growl came out of the Cathars mouth as he grabbed Si's arm, squeezing tightly and breaking the moment. "we're getting you out, but you better look me in the eye and tell me that you can shoot these weapons because I don't want the rescuees to become a liability to the rescuers, got it? And are there any other prisoners?"

Si was shocked into silence, trying to find his voice. "Answer, now!" He managed to mumble some agreement as Kira responded. He tried to keep himself from looking into her eyes, praying to the Gods that she wouldn't notice.

"We should move. Sith will be here, soon." Si agreed with that, if only to move himself away from the woman. He took a hesitant step after the Cathar and the human Alliance commando's, but Kira's hand shot out, grabbing his arm tightly.

"You look a lot like your brother."

Si blinked, the shock hitting him like a hammer. He'd always known that. It had killed his mother, Genna - seeing her dead son every day, and seeing all that was missing from him was Sae's father. Whoever that was. He shook away the memories, not wanting to indulge in those dark days after the Battle of Roon. Still caught up in his personal horror, Sae didn't look back, simply adding all he could.

"Half-brother." He didn't need to say anything else. Couldn't. His analytical mind was auto-correcting, not really adding anything else. His emotions were a mess. He tried to hurry away from her, dealing with the memories of his lost parents. What else was there to do? He dully hefted the blaster, made sure it was on stun this time.

He'd heard stories that his half-brother, Sae Kya, had refused to ignite his lightsaber unless he faced a true darkness - not the pawns or the victims, but the true hearts of evil. Si simply refused to kill whatsoever. He was no Kira Romar.

Jacen Cole

In the Corridors of Hell

He watched their back, while U´Tek talked to Romar. She seemed broken for moment, but suddenly turned back to her intense killing-mood. He could see death all above her. Why had he saved her? She would bring them only doom. He had seen her before. She was worse than the Sith. Because people trusted her and then were lead to ruin by her. Tahnan and he had survived Roon. Only to give her another try?

But he was a soldier. And he liked to think of himself as a good one. Probably he didn´t follow orders he thought wrong. But he surely followed orders he couldn´t understand at all.

As Romar and the young guy had a word, he took U´Tek to the side.
"Listen, their shuttle plan could be a better plan than we think. Don´t you think this whole operation got the huge TRAP written all over it? We have one entrance, we overrun it and no Sith or Commandos in the floors? Why should they. They simply seal that gate-corridor with a few hundred troops and we´re trapped in here like a Nexu with a burning tail. Probably we should get Tahnan and get those shuttles. Ships would be a bonus, wouldn´t they?" He looked over to Romar and began walking. She had recognized him. He knew it.

Why have I saved her?

He glared over to U´Tek for a moment, then he took his rifle of his back again and made sure the corridor was clear. If they decided it was the best way, the others would stick to the plan, he was sure. Romar would make sure of that.

prison complex - interrogation cells

The Cathar was satisfied with the response the two gave him. At least Romar looked him in the eyes and showed that she could fight. The man - or is it boy? - well, he looked scared as expected, but not damaged.

What he was not satisfied with was what Cole brought up. And the chit-chatting.

"Stop it and ready those weapons," he growled at the two prisoners. They'd be the death of him yet...

Back to the situation. They were moving pretty fast, and the resistance had been what was expected so far. Deviating from the plan, which was going well, did not sound good to him.

"First we meet back up with the Colonel," he called out to Cole, "and if we have to change plans then, we do it."

He triggered his comm in his helmet. "Colonel, we have Romar and another prisoner. We'll join up with you. Break: Transport, did you copy all? Give us 5 more minutes."

U'tek motioned to Cole. "Take the lead. Let's go to where the Colonel said he'd be." Turning to Romar and the young man: "Follow him. Are you sure there are no other prisoners here?"

She tried to keep up the speed and the tension. The force was still with her. She knew her body was only carried by her unnatural connection to the living energy in moments of danger.

"Follow him. Are you sure there are no other prisoners here?"
The Cathar asked. He was in contact with the Colonel. She was eager to see her old friend. So few left, of them.

"I haven´t seen any. And if there are, they will be frozen. They freeze us, when they don´t torture us." She said as if this would be nothing to her. Distancing her from her emotions.

She gave the humans argument some thought. Why have the Sith all left me, before the men appeared. And if they were hunting intruders, why are the soldiers still alive?

In a moment where they checked another corner, she concentrated on the prison. The force reached through the tunnels, searched for her unseen enemies.

reached out with the force and found what she had been searching for. Minds, dedicated and eager. Waiting for the confrontation ahead. It were dozens. Probably a hundred.

And then she felt another presence. Darker, colder, closer. And a flash of hatred right beside her. The force made her duck, as a red lightblade slashed through the corridor-wall above her head. Out of nowhere a red-faced Sith had appeared between them. And his murderous intent was all too apparent in the force.

Ripping Jacen Cole´s rifle from his hand with the force, the Sith charged raging towards the soldiers as he had missed his primary target. U´Tek saw his yellow eyes screaming with anger. Unfortunatly between him and the two men was Si Kya. For Darth Erebus only something that he needed to get rid of . . .

Tahnan had a split second to recognize the prisoner on the other side of the doorway as a Jedi before he found himself slammed against the wall by the Sith guarding him. Blasted Force users were always fighting cheap. He instinctively struggled worthlessly against the intangible grip. Then Tenk slammed into the two troopers beside Raisah, knocking either one out of the way. Tahnan slumped down to the floor and landed in a crouch as the Sith?s concentration broke. Tenk jumped off to the side, perfectly out of line of fire. "Shoot!" The Falleen didn?t need to be told twice, he snatched up his rifle and began spraying fire towards the opposing trio. The Sith didn?t stand a chance. Poor sod.

-Prison

Lorj already had the stormtrooper weapon firing at the sith and her two companions. The accuracy was terrible and if it had not been for the attention demanding situation he would have took the time to contact the manufacturers and leave a very unpleasant message. Throwing a block of concrete could have been more effective and he could see why, when put against Force users, Stormtroopers often found themselves in the ground and, also, why they were notorious for their bad aiming.

However, the stormtroopers were easy targets and after he had pumped a shot in both the impaired stormtroopers. Then tossed the weapon in the air and shot it with his rifle, causing a bright, hopefully distracting, explosion. Fighting the sith in these close of surroundings meant certain death, in other words, they needed more room. Not to mention they already needed to be on the move because of the approaching stormys.

Grabbing Tenk, Lorj pulled the man out of the room and into the corridor. Tahnan was putting shots towards the sith anyway, but he would probably follow their lead after they had gotten clear of the room. Pushing Tenk a couple of feet down the aisle, Lorj spun around unto his knee and aimed a shot at the doorway, waiting for the Sith to come out. It would mean death for her, of course.

Zeth let out a huge sigh of relief once Z had informed him both of his targets were down. This feeling was shattered when he was informed seconds later that he had four more eye balls approaching his rear.

"Z, I'm going to need all power back to my front deflector shields," the zabrak instructed the droid as he turned his ship towards the oncoming enemy. Then, he reached up and flipped a switch on his comm system, "Sabre 2 form up to my right, and swith your weapons to proton torpedoes. Oh, and put all excess power into your forward shields."Zeth ordered Talia.

"On my way Sabre One, and I'm running low on torps," came Talia's reply.

"That's fine, we should only need one for the time being." Zeth responded, then flipped his comm back.

Once Talia had moved behind him and to his right, Zeth pulled in front of his wingmate far enough so he could pull a roll in front of her if the situation called for it. He flipped his comm again, "Sabre 2 get a lock on the lead eyeball on your side, once you take the shot, rolled to my other side, and pepper the TIE on the outside with laser fire."

Lt. Tak'n switched his weapons to proton torpedos, and tried to lock onto the eyeball that was leading on his side, but the son of a kath hound wouldn't stay still. Zeth watched as Talia's missile sailed past him, and towards the predators. He almost had the lock when green lasers began flying around him, he took the first few hits just long enough to acquire the lock and pull the trigger. Just as he instructed Talia to roll her ship behind his, Zeth rolled his ship in front of hers, switched his weapons back to lasters, and spit red beams towards the TIE fighter on the outside of the pack. Now all Zeth could do was pray they took some of them out with their attack.

So that's what they look like in real-life, thought U'tek.

"Down," he shouted as he immediately slid to his left, keeping his weapon trained on the red menace. He saw the window for the shot closing rapidly as this fight was likely going to get way too close for firearms. Aiming right for the chest, U'tek pulled the trigger and three bullets silently sped out of the barrel.

And he wondered - can Sith hear silenced weapons?

Colonel Raud felt the tension rise, as another run of these Unknown Gunboats was successful, disabling more than 10% of their turbolaser batteries. Surely the Resistance couldn´t win that battle. But he still awaited the report from the Commandos so far. Probably this wasn´t about all out victory. Probably this was all part of the Resistance plan.
"Concentrate fire on the transports, leave the Nebulon-G to it´s own ends, for now. Hangar-Bay, Darkblade-Squadron isa a go!" He then turned towards the internal officer. "Report on the lockdown?" He asked.
"It won´t happen," came a voice from behind. He turned and the near-human, noseless man he had come to call Master stood there. Darth Tenebrous gave the space-battle only a short glance.
"Sith Master, I guess it is our imperative that we . . .!" Colonel Raud fell silent, as the Sith raised his hand. His black tattoos all over his red face only making him more dedicated.
"We have other plans. Execute Order Maelstrom. Now." He said and folded his arms. Watching the tactical display of the station. Raud nodded. He had hoped it would never come to this. But despite everything, he felt relief that it hadn´t been him giving that order.
"You heard the Sith Master. Execute Maelstrom. Now!" He said and his communications officer turned to the console.
"All units, execute Malestrom. Repeat, execute all prisoners. Execute all prisoners." The younger man cleared his throat. They all knew what was their prisoners situation. They were all frozen. At least they would die in their sleep. All three hundred and fifty of them.

hit what remained of the Lancer´s shields hard. Two of his bolts ripped through the energy-field, making another point-defense battery of the sleek enemy frigate a burning hole in it´s hull. The Lancer stopped spraying laser-fire immediately and concentrated on this new attacker, desperately searching his fighter with it´s flak-batteries.

Commander Loben
new they wouldn´t hit him by skill, but most starfighter were killed by chance anyway.
Relentlessly following this new Twintail he waited for his chance for a kill. The pilot was good, but Loben had seen a few battles. Even the good ones died. And the man was alone. And he knew it was almost impossible to shake a TIE Predator with a clumsy Twintail. He waited for Vektir to make another round on the Lancer and then hit the fire-button. Spraying his green fire into the flying vector of Vektir the man had only the choice of dying or aborting his attack. When he aborted the Lancer would have a nice chance of hitting him, when he broke away.

Captain Lerner
saw the Lancer turn itself, finally. It now was defensing itself like a wounded Karth Hound. "Black Leader, Status!" He asked Commander Vayland, as he watched Vektir doing another stunt. "Black Leader to Ranger, delivered second round. Waiting for new target. Repeat, waiting for new . . ." Lerner nodded. Maximl had brought the Lancer to the brink of collapse. They now needed the big guns to end it. Not that it was the most useful target. But seeing the imperial ship explode would raise the morale. Especially his. While he watched his fleet go down to buy the Colonel some time, he needed a small victory.
"Ranger to Black, time to take the Lancer out of the game, Nirooth. Maximl can only hold it back for so long." He said and then opened a channel. "Sabre-Four, keep this Predators busy and focused on you, Black Squadron is making it´s attack run, now! Repeat, Lancer is Black´s new target."

Kira Romar

Corridors of Hell

The force took control. She couldn´t do anything but obey. And as she pushed her body towards the ground her body felt the heat of the lightsaber above her. The Sith had come out of nowhere. Hidden by the Dark Side, like Darth Zorn had once, probably.

You should have sensed him.

Falling to the ground, she raised her pistol, as the red-faced man leapt towards her three companions. Without thinking she shoved Si out of the way with a wave of his, hand, commanding the force. Just before the Sith would surely have slain him. Coming to her feet she extendeed her hand, breathing heavy. She wasn´t in the shape to fight a Sith, again. She couldn´t. But the force screamed in her blood as the Dark Side moved in to take her saviors. She took all strength left and pushed the Sith back through the force. If she kept him away from the soldiers, their shots would eventually kill him.

Outside Awakening Chamber

Once Tenk had been pulled away by another reptilian member of this team of intruders - who he figured were members of the remnants of the Galactic Alliance - he was only able to watch as not only the stormtroopers but Raisah were killed from the fire of the troopers. Tenk couldn't help but stare at the corpses for a moment, the first that he had seen in five years since he had left the Order and the war so that he wouldn't be around such a thing anymore. Unfortunately, the combat and killing wasn't going to go away that easily.

Especially when Tenk heard the female Anomid suddenly shout out as blaster bolts flew past them. The former Jedi found the source quickly enough: black armored stormtroopers that appeared at the end of the corridor from a turbolift.

And that was when the Force came back to Tenk. Feeling the embrace of the Force once again, Tenk felt refreshed, his strength returning as the Force empowered him...and he also felt the horror of something that was occurring. It had been a while since he felt it through the Force, but there was no mistaking the sensation of death that he felt that was originating from a gate that the troopers seemed to be protecting.

"Something's going on behind that gate!" Tenk shouted to his rescuers before he lifted himself up from the floor and positioned himself between the team and the stormtroopers. The former Jedi focused, using his reconnection with the Force to manipulate it. Tenk brought up his hands, the Force being focused at his palms, and started deflecting blaster bolts with them, knocking them into the walls of the corridor.

Corridors offered very little cover and it was a pain to fight in them. However, now that Tenk was giving his rescuers some improvised protection, they could freely fire back at the stormtroopers that still had the little cover problem.

"Sabre-Four, keep this Predators busy and focused on you, Black Squadron is making it´s attack run, now! Repeat, Lancer is Black´s new target."

*Horribly tempted to broadcast his assessment of their lack of tactical sense over the radio since going after Predators is what the starfighters should have been doing all along, rather than pestering a frigate, Max simply settled for something non-offensive.*

"Sabre Four copies."

*A pair of Predators at ones rear quarter tended to make even the most seasoned of pilots lock his focus onto them rather than being clever. Max didn't like his situation to begin with, and the fact that there appeared to be a squadron that was moving towards him didn't help things either.

Already in a hard high-speed flat turn, Max was quickly running through maneuver after maneuver in his brain that might work in his particular situation. None of them fit exactly, and most of them put him either horribly out of position and nowhere near ready to strike or left him completely vulnerable and most likely would result in him becoming just more space debris.

Even a run-off of his improvised moves in the past yielded no hints. It meant that it was time for a bit more innovation. However this time it would require getting inside the head of an Eyeball Jockey.

Max had read the reports and filed the knowledge away in the back of his mind. They were a lot like the TIE pilots of eras gone by. Oft described as bloodthirsty, hyper-aggressive, and suicidal (sometimes all three at once), Max knew very well that they would most likely keep coming after him if he kept running.

However, he quickly came to the conclusion that while they were hyper aggressive, they would definetely be looking for the quick kill, and it could be an opening...

Max started to do two things simultaniously, hoping to goad the Predators into commiting to one big strike: He started to ease off of the thrust and come out of the turn. He justified the enormous risk by relying on stories told to him by the technicians about the X-83, that supposedly it could endure more punishment than a frigate when considering its shield and hull strength.

However, they were just stories, and the thumps of glancing laser strikes and the bleating of the hard-wired droid were starting to mitigate his confidence.*

"Yes I know what I'm doing, just trust me already! Look can you generate some sort of sensor backlash from the onboard emitters?!"

*It took the droid a moment but it came up with an answer, stating that yes it could but it would take a bit of time to set up*

"Well do what you can in a hurry. That squadron is bearing down on us and if they pounce, Id like to have a little surprise waiting for them. Get on it and quit pestering me now!"

*As the droid worked, Max looked out of the cockpit to the high rear and right. His ruse was working, the two Predators were in position, having a big shooting lead, likely intending to pound his canopy in and end the fight.

They would never see it coming.

Again with some deft throttle and control manipulation, Max hit the retro thrusters, banked and turned away from the Predators. However he suddenly stopped the turn, instead rolling and inverting back into the Predators.
As he had hoped, since they were committed to ending him quickly they were just starting the Reverse Throttle Hop maneuver and open to a shot. Max jumped back on the throttle and jabbed the trigger downwards. Laser bolts lanced out and hammered the first Predator, quickly overwhelming its weak shielding and thin hull in a remarkably large explosion. However, the pilot of the second Predator was no slouch and had stayed far enough back that Max had to reduce throttle again AND fly through the debris cloud that the wreckage of the first Predator had made.

With the first hard break and turn, Max swore out loud into his cockpit*

"Aw kriff, here we go!"

*From a suitable vantage point the starfighters seemed to be locked in a dance, forever crossing and turnin

Si saw the big man's blaster rifle wrenched from his hand, and Si turned to follow it, seeing the demonic man - the Sith Lord - lunging at him, saber ignited. Si knew very well he was about to die - a simple wall between this madman and Kira. Probably like how Sae had been. Regardless, he was at least going to try and shoot the man.

And then some unseen hand bodily grabbed him and slammed him into the corridor wall. Falling down and sagging on the floor, he winced, acknowledging that either the Sith had tossed him aside, or Kira had saved him. It was more likely that Kira had saved him, his star-filled head concluded. Lifting his rifle up, he began firing stun blasts. He had to try, after all.

Music

Darth Erebus
unleashed all of his rage on these intruders. The way of the Sith Warrior knew nothing else. Accept death and bring it through your hatred to the enemy.

The Cathar U´Tek shot his three rounds the moment he could still reach him. The Human drew his weapons to unload his two pistols against him. And the young one suddenly flew to the side. All happened to fast. No time to think about that. Rage would guide him. It always had.
Erebus only screamed out and dodged the first shot from U´Tek, deflecting the second and as he was unbalanced by the bullet hitting his saber the third hit his shoulder. He did not let the pain reign over him, but roared as the blaster fire from the lying Jacen Cole was deflected by his lightblade. The arm and weapon moved on it´s own, guided by the force, only. With a violent wave of his arm he took up the lying humans body with the force and slammed him into the second attacker. Just as they both lay down, he wanted to leap forward to deliver the killing blow. But something held him back. The Jedi. She used the force against him. Romar. How could she dare to . . .

Turning he raised his arm and send the weakened woman though the air. But before he could turn back to the two men something hit him. He felt the stun take the feeling out of his body, but with a hiss he turned his head to the young man who had shot him. A Sith Warrior was trained to resist something simple as energy. Especially at the lower intensity of a stunblast. But it had taken his kill from him. And like all Sith, the act of murder was sacred to him. "You!" He roared to Si Kya and raised his lightblade.

Jacen Cole
Corridors

It was a scene from one of the the corellian hells itself. People were simply shifted out of the way, blasters seemed to simply vanish and laserbolts returned to them. Even the solid hit U´Tek had landed didn´t slow this murderous beast down. And before Cole knew, he himself was send through the air. Ramming U´Tek with all his weight he fell to the ground, pain rushing through his bones from the impact. This Sith was the real thing. A true Sith. He had things like him ripping apart their army, as they invaded Roon. Invaded. They had been slaughtered. Not again. He killed one then, he could kill one now. All it needed was some . . . "Teamwork". He pressed through his teeth, lying on U´Tek.

"I´ll keep him busy, you give him your best shot!" He hissed at U´Tek the Cathar. Then he jumped to his feet, withdrawing his vibo-dagger and a throwing knife. As the red-faced thing neared the young guy they had picked up with Romar, he only yelled "HEY!"
Preparing for attack with both knifes, he edged forward. "Hands of the boy, you ugly son of a horny Hutt!" He screamed out and charged towards the Sith.
Infighting with a Sith. Brilliant idea, he thought with bitter sarcasm. U´Tek would kill this thing fast, or he would be dead. He knew that. But they would kill this thing soon or they would all die, anyway.

U'tek
Prison Complex - Interrogation Block

U'tek saw the collision with Cole right before impact, only giving him enough time to partially brace for it. Of course it didn't save him, the weight of the human taking a hefty knock into the Cathar. Luckily his carbine didn't go flying, thanks to the sling around his shoulder.

What bothered him was that he barely got confirmation if his shots hit the Sith, but that didn't matter since the Sith was still going. This was definitely one of the fastest fights that U'tek had ever been in.

So fast that what Cole did next did catch him off guard. Standing with two blades, taunting the Sith? That was something that he, a Cathar, known for their hand-to-hand combat abilities, should be doing! And then telling him to back him up by shooting the red monster? How could he shoot the Sith when Cole was in his way?!

Cole started charging. There was only one thing U'tek saw to do to get a clear shot. He sprung to feet, selecting his slugthrower carbine to fully automatic, and immediately leaped head-first towards the young man, the Sith's target. As he hit the floor and slid into the young man, he pointed the silenced muzzle straight at the Sith and pulled the trigger, unleashing as many rounds at his target as he could before Cole got too close.

Kira Romar
Corridor

She felt the force carry her away. The Sith had hit her with all his rage. It was just what she needed. Now completely merging into the battle she felt her bond to the force again. Not the hint of it, but the same strength she knew so well and hated so much.

It saved her. Nevertheless. Easing her impact and pushing herself to twords the floor she landed on her feets and legs. Like a cat, she ducked deep, as if ready to jump, as she glanced back at the battle. The human soldier engaged the Sith with knifes. The Cathar tried to use that, by sliding towards Kya´s brother and attack. They underestimated the Sith´s speed. He would kill them both. Her hand snapped up and reached out to the Sith, the force focussing on the only task she gave it. She screamed it into the force. Commanded it. And like an iron fist her will forced the hilt of the Sith´s weapon to stop. While she couldn´t grab a lightsaber from the Sith´s hand, she would keep him from striking with it. Holding it above his head she hoped it would be enough opening for the other two to kill him.

Because I don´t want to . . .
