2003 january/february assortment clone troopers

Answer to this thread perhaps...rebelscum.com is reporting today that Hasbro has told them it will be a white (possibly clean) version of the original red Clonetrooper from the previous waves. It will be coming along with the red Battle Droids to replace the tan ones.

Thanks darc! Neck announced this in the "New Images" thread, so it sounds legit! w00h00! I wonder when they'll finally make it to shelves.

 

Give them til about August to finally show up Sithy. They are probably slated for release in February.

does anyone here think the just a repaint is a bad idea...

i want a totaly new figure. as usual, hasbro

 

Its a repaint of a damn good red clone trooper toy though. At least we know it is a good figure. We could get a horrible new sculpted figure.

I'm glad you remember me Sithman as I remember you and have had great joy in reading your Gunship posts. Do you still post at the Non-Spoiler Forum? I do, but not as much as I used to since the topics aren't great yet.

I'd rather have a new mold than a repaint any day...but let's put it this way...at least the 2003 waves won't be more of the same red trooper.

Any idea when we can start to expect seeing '03 products on the shelves?
I really like the new numbering scheme...
'02#01, etc....

 

According to starwars.com, most things for this month were already released in January 10. So give them about three months to make it to stores.
