2004 Dragon*Con FanForce Dinner Information

Hey all!

The Hothlanta Rebels, the Atlanta GA FanForce chapter, will be holding its 3rd annual Dragon*Con FanForce dinner for all the FanForce folks who will be attending the convention.

The dinner is scheduled for Saturday, September 4th, at 5:30 p.m. The location for the dinner will be the restaurant located on the bottom floor of the downtown Atlanta Hilton hotel, Trader Vic's. This is the same location at which we have had the FF dinner for the past two years.

Man, I would love to go to Dragon*Con again. This year is the ten year anniversary of my last trip. Back then Magic: The Gathering was the big thing, along with Space Ghost: Coast to Coast. You could walk into the Star Wars tracks with no problem and many items in the Star Wars auctions didn't even sell due to lack of interest. I stood in line for not even an hour to get two free Anthony Daniels autographs and I got numerous books, comics, and Galaxy cards signed by authors and artists in no time. Somehow I imagine those days are long gone for quite a while. I'll just keep saving up for C3 and then perhaps I can look back at D*C a couple of years from now.

Perhaps I'll see you at CIII, but I'm not sure if I will be able to attend. I'll just have to wait and see.
