Awards 2011 Fanfic Awards--Programming Update

Volunteer casting calls are closed. We will be contacting who has volunteered and are in the middle of making plans. We'll announce those plans once they're hammered out, and then the volunteers will let us know about scheduling and next steps. Looking forward to a great Awards season! Thank you for all who have volunteered.

 

Thank you to all who volunteered for the 2011 Fanfic Awards!

First, some housekeeping.

Due to the number of volunteers, current size of our boards, and the desire to continue this tradition, we will be holding two ceremonies total. The first ceremony will combine the Before the Saga and Saga awards, and the second ceremony will combine the Beyond the Saga and NSWFF awards. There will be one host for each combined ceremony and a set of volunteers for each. No other part of the Awards will be changed. This is simply to consolidate and make giving the boards an enjoyable Awards experience easier for the volunteers.

We will be pm-ing information to the volunteers to get them started, and letting them plan out the scheduling for the Summer Awards season that works best between the two. When the schedules have been finalized they will be announced and the Dream Team will take it from there!

Programming Update:

Just as an update: SoA and LilyHobbitJedi have decided to switch hostessing duties, so SoA is now hosting Beyond/NSWFF and Lily is now hosting Before/Saga.

The volunteers are getting cozy and making their plans, so expect to hear updates from them soon.
