OK, so I could have put this in the Happy Holiday thread (and maybe I will do that as well:D

I will be attending a party at a friend's restuarant (first time ever in over 30-yrs of knowing them)

Yes, I will be in my TK (which is also very rare for me on Halloween)

Yes, there will be a costume contest.

But I have sworn off entering these having entered one only once
and learning that they are not for me.

Hope you have fun Trick or Treating,
    with or with-out your kids[face_laugh]

and may it be a safe time for you all.

    MT

I've been to one party this year already, and went as a modern interpretation of Snow White.. I looked more like a cross between Supergirl and Wonder Woman..or more like Smallville's Lois Lane in one of her crazy get-ups.

My sister and her fiance dressed up as Sarah Palin and General Zod (for president). Complete with campaign buttons, and my sister has the Govenor's accent down.. too funny.

A couple years ago I went to a Halloween party wearing medical scrubs covered with stickers bearing the names of all kinds of nasty ailments (mostly "adult related"). Everyone at the party got to select and keep a sticker for themselves.

    My costume? I was...infectious.

    [face_laugh]

I got the idea from a friend at a previous Halloween. It was my kind of costume - cheap and a real conversation starter.

way to start disappointing her from a young age, x. why not just pretend christmas doesn't happen either? she won't remember anything from her first couple of years anyways. you could always photoshop those memories in later when she starts asking about what you guys did when she was a baby. Since it's the closest thing to a new Star Wars movie we'll get, perhaps we should organize a viewing.
