There are those who believe that life here began out there far accross the universe with tribes of humans, who may have been the forefathers of the Egyptians or the Toltecs or the Mayans. Some believe there may yet be brothers of man out there who even now fight to survive somewhere beyond the heavens...

Another theory is that Humans were created by the Celestials who seaded them on various worlds mostly in the Core. From a certain point of view, creationists may be right, the Celestials were a nearly god-like species.

Besides, even if it's so that Humans in the Star Wars fiction are from Coruscant and settled Earth, we (which means you and I) still are not related to them, because we life in the real world.

 

The dates get rather dicey there. It might be possible to assume that lifeforms from Earth's evolutionary tree were acquired earlier and the resemblance of Star Wars humans to modern Homo sapiens is an example of convergence and/or deliberate adjustment (perhaps the Celestials left agents in our galaxy and changed these proto-Humans known as the Zhell to more closely resemble humans as evolution on Earth had changed them).

Or we could use a really weird explanation - that Earth itself was copied at some prior date and a new version (Norton) was produced in the Star Wars galaxy and placed into its present orbit. The genetic material from this planet was then spread across the galaxy in a massive panspermia event (the convergence of lifeforms sentient and otherwise, in the Star Wars galaxy kind of implies this had to happen in some fashion), but conditions on Norton remained close enough to that of Earth into historical times that the evolutionary patterns were essentially the same.

Well it is possible that it is referring to what we see of space from Earth. Meaning, stars that are millions of lightyears away produce light that takes time to be visible on Earth, hence the word lightyear: the distance light travels in a year, so that the light we are seeing can be millions of years old, it is only finally reaching Earth. Also a side note, outsiders may find it stupid or nerdy but I enjoy this kind of in-depth analysis of Star Wars.

 

In ancient times Coruscant was called Notron, not Norton. It cannot be an Earth copy, because of the size. Earth's diameter is 12,740 km, Coruscant's varies in different sources, from 12,240 km to 16,261 km (Coruscant and the Core Worlds) and ~18,000 km (TIE fighter?).

 

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah..... about the Toltecs. Some people seem to think that Toltec statues (often referred to as Atlantean figures, ugh) at Tula depict the usage of laser guns. They don't. Those are atlatls.

 

Indeed, it has even been noted that Coruscant's climatic history would likely preclude humans having evolved there. It was too cold.

 

The Humans' appearance suggests a warm climate, maybe they evolved or were created when Coruscant was a bit hotter until a cataclysm cooled it down when they already had developed technology like clothes and houses to compensate this.

 

Don't think that deeply on it.

In anime many stories take place on planets not Earth with no connection to Earth.

The Panet in which the Song of Ice and Fire takes place on also has no connection to Earth was far as we know.

Even Dune which originaly set in the year 10,191 (they just kept the clandar going?) is just tagentaly connected to Earth.

 

The thing is, the precise conditions don't matter. Once we move further into the Star Wars past than about 25,000 BBY we enter into a mythic zone, where Celestial, Rakatan, Gree, and other super-technologies and super-Force abilities move beyond any logical restrictions and they can be held responsible for almost anything an author wishes (ex. the Rakata, via the Mother Machine, apparently created a large number of the galaxy's sentient species in more or less their current forms).
