8 so far with brand new session 1 of SG-Atlantis coming out as well

 

So there's one session for every season?

 

YAY Season 8 has finally started!! though no sign of Atlantis coming to our screens, which is annoying, coz i really do think that they need to be played aside each other now!

i do like the idea of O'neill being frozen (a.k.a Han Solo, obviously!!!)
and the wierd blobs of energy that pretected the earth were interesting... and effective!

 

Great to see my favourite bad guys appear, if only for a brief moment, to kick season 8 off. i've heard of nothing but good things for the changes made during this season (though it is sad to see Don S Davis leave the cast), and I do hope seven get their act together and screen Atlantis sooner rather then later.

 

What do you think this is Kart, Disneyland or sumthink?

 

Anyone else wondering when we?ll get the official Stargate magazine?

I don't know, never knew one existed. The mag with the dvd discs per issue are on sale now, though i can't be bothered getting them.

 

Magazine info is at GateWorld, but that?s only for North America, Canada and the UK.

neat. it may find its way here through the comic stores before any australian versions. i've noticed with other tv show magazines (star trek, farscape and so forth) that they are mainly the UK editions with Australian front covers, little changed in-between.

my question exactly, it took me a couple of episodes to get used to it!

I liked the virtual game episode!!!! i didn't see whether Christapher Judge wrote it or not?

 

The episode was called Avatar.It was written by a Damian Kindler. I think it's kool about the whole Simulator thing. Makes me look forawrd to the Stargate SG-1: The Alliance game which suppose to come out Spring of 2005 here.

alas, the eighth season of SG-1 has finished

What did people think of the last double episode? The ending was a bit weak, but thats what u get for having 4 writers i suppose.

Now we get Atlantis, about time too! I am Surprised they didn't really advertise it till just the week before. At least it is taking the same time slot as SG-1, even if it is at 10:30 at night. (NSW)

 

I think it's good that the finale of Season 8 goes back takes a nod to the movie in a way. But it isn't as large as the previous 2 seasons finales.

Atlantis was pretty good. It kinda reminds me of the very first SG-1 episode : Children of the Gods. People get taken, rescue, new friends, new enemy, etc. The new gate system in the Pegasus galaxy looks kool with the blue and all, not to mention their version of the Iris.

 

I've got copies of the entire first season of SG- Atlantis.


I want season 9.......

The gates in Pegasus are fun-KAY! And so is all the cool technology. I love this I want my own gate dammit!

 

Seen every episode of every season of SG1 apart from season 5, top show, getting into Atlantis at the moment dont think its quite up to SG1 standard though.

 

I heard yesterday that a local video game company (local to Sydney anyway) is looking for a 3d animator to work on the SG-1 video game...
