We had our 1st pretend date tonight. Didn't carry things too far... kind of taking it slow.

DAWN!!!!!! couldn't make it last night. (the imaginary version at least) She DID call, though. (aka: listening to her on the Buffy CD)

Says she'll make up for it tonight.

Without DAWN!!!!!! I had to do something, so I started trying out a video editing software. I was able to get some footage of the cat mixed with Teela's theme from the original MOTU cartoon.

 

Ok, Joe-da.... listen up. I am looking forward to doing this film, and I am ready to get cooking on it, but I have a mission for you, after that. Fettfan and myself watched a fan film last night, and it was pretty cool. I want US to do one!

 

make a fan film we must.... I've mentioned it before. Others have. Probably even you.

We just need to decide on the WHAT.

 

Tell you what.... rather than getting discombobulated, lets focus on the one you are revving up now, and after that, lets dive headfirst into coming up with a fan film. Sound good?

Plus sounds like I might have a paid gig for a local school promo video, but I'll do that AFTER the movie and stuff, if I do it.

Speaking of hissing, I faced one of my biggest fears this morning. May not sound like a big deal to yall, but it was a major thing for me. See, I am PETRIFIED of snakes. We're talking hands shaking, sweating bullets, petrified scared. Got ready to move my trash can out front for pickup and a moccasin was curled up underneath it. In the past I would have left it alone and gone in to change my pants, but the fact that my wife would be bringing my boy out to leave shortly afterward, I knew what I had to do. Got the hoe, moved the trash can, missed the first time cause my hands were shaking so bad. But boy I landed a shot that Mace Windu would have been proud of. Took his head off clean on the second try. Bad thing was, I kinda felt guilty afterwards. No idea why.

Seriously, dont feel bad about killing a poisonous snake, bro. They got it coming.

 

I think I felt bad because after I missed, it tried its hardest to get away. Thats probably why I got such a good shot the second time, because it straightened out and was slithering.
