don't worry, it's just geek talk.

yeah, I like Firefox ... the only thing I don't like about it is that some sites don't support it. I'll wait and see what IE 7 is like.

MS is so behind the eight ball. Seriously, the fact that non of their software updates to date have included anything as simple as a pop-up blocker is absolute madness. (Especially seeing as there are so many add-on apps which do it easily enough and are developed by one person at home.) Microsfot aren't leaders anymore ... they're followers, but they're so bloated that it takes them half a decade to develop a new product.

Oh, and I alternate between Safari and Firefox on my Mac at home ... they're both infinately superior to IE in my opinion,

Windows service pack 2 has a pop-up blocker for IE.

the sites seem to have got around the pop up blocker software by using those layered pop up ads integrated into the webpage. I don't know what they're called, exactly, but you get them on the stuff and nzherald sites a lot ... video ads that play in a side panel.

    Firefox. No competition.
    If I find a page I can't look at I use the IE plug-in.

    Best for what?

I'm using Firefox only because IE started screwing up on me. They're all pretty much the same as far as I'm concerned.
