SNG Blood War! SW vs ST

Hi,

On Saturday 3rd February 2007, our local Star Wars and Star Trek communities will come together for an inaugural blood donation event, which will then continue as a year long challenge to determine which group will be the winner of the coveted Blood Wars Challenge Trophy.

Friendly competition aside, the objective of the event is to encourage more people to become blood donors and help the BloodBank@HSA meet the blood transfusion needs in Singapore. Every year, the BloodBank faces blood supply shortages, especially during the holiday season.

In appreciation of blood donations received during the event, each blood donor will receive a FREE photo printout (Limited to 1st 100 donors) taken together with Star Wars and Star Trek characters who will be present throughout the event.

Time --- 10am to 4pm

If you are not able to donate blood, you can still be a part of the event by encouraging and accompanying your friends and family to come and donate blood during the event. Let us all do our part to help those in need of blood transfusion.

[b]Blood Wars returns on Saturday 5 May 2007[/b]

This time, we will be supporting the launch of the [b]Birthday Programme[/b] by Bloodbank@HSA. The Bloodbank has prepared a line-up of games from [b]noon to 3pm[/b], and their representatives will be present to let you know more about blood donation and their Birthday Programme. Star Wars and Star Trek characters will be present for photo opportunities too, so drop by with your family and friends.

Blood donation will be ongoing throughout the day ([b][i]9am to 4pm[/i][/b]), and we encourage those eligible to donate blood to do so.
